They are skipping big sur 11 and jumping to 11.0.1 and it won’t be out anytime soon as it’s now beta 1
That or 11.0 Beta 10 is the final release that ships soonish, with them trying to fix as many issues as possible with 11.0.1 or 11.1, depending on how they end up versioning the next release.

Kind of like the situation we had with iOS 13, where 13b8 ended up being the full release but beta period continued with 13.1, which hit shortly after 13.0 (1-2 weeks?).

No tweet from 9to5mac, which has always happened when we're getting a new iOS beta, since many others on here take stock in that. So no new beta today, if they're true to form.

GM next week and week after 14.2 release for Pro Max, my guess

This has been my guess for a while and it's looking more and more likely.

Nope, just that the current beta of 11.0 is the build that will be the GM. Public Release for Big Sur is apparently 18th November, according to some reputable leakers, so GM could be week of 9th for that, unless Apple want to let MacOS Devs get 2 weeks instead of 1, and release the GM next week.

Tomorrow hopefully.
Thursday releases are less common, plus very unlikely seeing as GM is likely to be next week, if they intend to release 14.2 in the week of the Mini & Pro Max (which are likely to be running 14.2). :)

Plus, they will want to get started on the 14.3 beta cycle, as there's a fair bit that should be in that release.

Actually Thursday is a very common iOS release day. Maybe not for betas but for release firmware it is.

Nothing for IOS today after 1pm Pacific, but at least the Big Sur beta out today is working very nicely on my iMac and again lets me use Amazon Prime on Safari.
Soon enough I suppose, my AWS4 cellular and XSM are happy beta campers for now thankfully.

I wonder if we'll see a 14.1.1 tomorrow or Friday since they stopped signing 14.0.1 or if 14.2 is closer to being ready.

Hoping for something today but feels like a long shot. Almost feels like we’re into next week now. I am going to guess that devs next week get the GM or release version. Public release the following week.

I think we will get something today a so

I don't see that happening, personally. Why give a new beta today, when we will. be getting the GM next week, with public release the week after. Also, I would reckon that 14.2 is on the Pro Max and Mini.

All iPhone 12 even pro will still have a iOS 14.1 just like other phones.

Devices that would be getting released later after a new version comes out could very well have that new version on them.
It won’t all iPhone 12 pro were loaded with 14.1 and tested with 14.1. Only reason they later is due to backed manufacturing of parts

iPhone 12 pro is all ready made and it’s out, just not to public. Internally it has 14.1 and it’s staying that way till it gets into users hands

14.2 till have another month to go with testing we are only on mb4 we need atleast B7

Just like iPhone 12 devices came out with iOS 14.1 on them even though that version wasn't actually released until right around the time those phones actually came out to the public, the same could be the case with iPhone 12 Pro devices and iOS 14.2.
