Hi guys.
Maybe here somebody helps...
Since updating my iPhone XR to iOS 14 my geekbench 5 results is very low in multi-core, about a 1700-1800 points.
Equal to iPhone 8, or even less, which is ridiculous.
And if I run test again in 2 or 3 minutes after first run result become normal. 2500-2600.
Just wonder, anyone else has similar results?
Btw in geekbench 4 results are normal.
Sorry for my English)

I feel we might get ios 14.2 this week. ECG will go live in South Korea as part of ios 14.2 and watchOS 7.1.

They will probably release it (sooner) to boost more sales in South Korea (esp that South Korea is home of their biggest competitor Samsung.) As early as tomorrow or any day this week.

Yeah my bet is tomorrow! Maybe even today, but when was the last time we had a Monday release?

Why not install the GM today if you guys want 14.2 so bad? just install public beta profile.. am i missing something?

Because of Apple Event now going to November 10, I think there might just be time for 1 more iOS beta before final release on November 10. Although they could just as well release tomorrow to lighten the loads. Who knows.

I would assume a Wednesday release if they’re giving people time off tomorrow to vote?

I wonder if we won't see iOS and watchOS this week and next week's release is Big Sur only, assuming it's a Mac event next week?

I’m thinking that iOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1 and tvOS 14.2 might be released this week, thus leaving macOS Big Sur and Silicon Macs for next week. Maybe even watchOS 7.1 for next week as it just appeared as RC...(all pure speculation, of course)

I am still thinking that we were meant to get the GM/RC this week, but we got it early, as they needed to get emergency fix out (which can be evidenced by the build being 8 builds more than the last beta).

Therefore, if we were meant to have that this week, then public release will be next week, as I doubt they’d move it forwards just due to the RC being moved forwards.
