I think @VSMacOne is saying based on the stability and lack of issues being reported in beta thread its a good indicator they are about finished with it.Probably for the umpteenth time: Apple does not have a release cadence based on how the feedback on MacRumors forums looks. They have them scheduled and they release according to that schedule.

That sounds plausible. Being that only the iP12 owners got the 14.2.1 version it would make since that us lowly users with older devices would get some love too.Zollotech reckons there may be a 14.2.2 release next week. I guess his speculating rather than in the know.
@gwhizkids nobody was saying it was based on the feedback. I was responding to another post stating that there would be a couple more betas. But I can see how you would think that only looking at that one post.I think @VSMacOne is saying based on the stability and lack of issues being reported in beta thread its a good indicator they are about finished with it.

Or the issue with messages not downloading/syncing with icloud in the messages appI doubt if the iCloud tabs syncing issue will get resolved anytime this year !
There’s no need. It’s not that big of an update.this week just seems too early we have only had 2 betas for 14.3
Don’t see why that fix can’t be in 14.3. Also, it seems based on your post you referenced that there are very few people affected by the bug, so I’m not sure it’s high on Apple’s priorities. With that said, I hope you have filed some type of feedback so Apple is aware of this. Bummer you are having that bug though. There need to be 14.2.2 update due to bug with contacts groups - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/contact-groups-in-i-pad-os-14-2-are-empty.2267668/
As I know everyone who use this feature is affected.Don’t see why that fix can’t be in 14.3. Someone didn't delay the scheduled article post lolWeird. My RSS Reeder app pulled this in from iPhone Hacks... the link went to a Page Not Found error, obvs, but still.

I don't think there will be another beta, I think we're just going to get the release, and probably come out this week or next. No point in a Beta when this release has to be out with time to spare in case anything goes wrong.
As I noted above somewhere, they could go as late as 12/15-16 and achieve that. But I would not be terribly surprised if it were today/tomorrow or next Tuesday/Wednesday either. The possibly mis-embargoed headline above may be an indication of an imminent release. Or simply an article that was pre-written (not that hard to do, either)
I doubt it’s a site that gets pre-embargo information, from what I know of it.
mom thinking Apple will err on the side of caution, as they’d want to ensure there nothing that will cause them to get hell over Christmas. I’m personally leaning towards next week.
