Public beta is out now
It is on beta 2.
It’s one build higher than beta 1, the SDK remains unchanged. Eventually, it’s still beta 1.macOS Big Sur got beta 2 on Tuesday.
beta.apple.com is where the public beta profile has been in the past. Give it a few minutes to update, it should be there soon enough. And the profile is found where? Still showing 13 on apple's site
Happened to me on my IPP11 but from 13.6.b3 to 14b2.Do the storage issues occur if you go from 13.5.1 to 14 beta 2? Perhaps the storage issues are just left over from beta 1.
Beta 2 still has the storage issues. Apple didn’t fix it yetDo the storage issues occur if you go from 13.5.1 to 14 beta 2? Perhaps the storage issues are just left over from beta 1.
Hopefully because they need to fix that storage issueI wonder if them pushing the public beta out this week means beta 3 on Tuesday.
For watchOS too?
No, WatchOS never gets public beta, since it cannot be downgraded by the user.

If "kids" agree to the terms of a beta then something like that shouldn't really be that surprising.“Hey kids, you like 90% of your storage being taken up by “Other”? Well then come download the Public Beta!”
-Apple today
Is that storage bug in the release notes for DB 2?If "kids" agree to the terms of a beta then something like that shouldn't really be that surprising.

The first public beta for iOS 13 was released on June 24th 2019, a week after the second developer beta (same build, June 17th 2019).
How about you post evidence to your pattern claims? I've been rocking / following every Beta for over 10 years and can't remember any release, since they introduced PBs, that had the first PB show up shortly after a developer beta. It was usually always a week (if not longer for the first few releases) after a developer beta.
And it seems to be PB2 actually (to match up with DB2 probably). Is PB1 the same build as DB2?

I mean but come on it's a pretty big bug that shouldn't even be released even in the Public Beta. It would be fine if it was taking up like 10 GBs or less but there been people saying it's taking up much much more than that on some of their devices. I'm not saying that the public beta should be bug free but again it's a pretty big bug you can't miss
There are some complaints about it certainly, but at the same time it doesn't seem like everyone by far is experiencing it or is really inconvenienced by it. That isn't to say that it isn't an issue or that it's not an important issue, but it might not necessarily be as critical/severe in the context of a beta in particular.I mean but come on it's a pretty big bug that shouldn't even be released even in the Public Beta.
