I haven't experienced that on Beta 8. I had assumed it was fixed along with the iMessage preview bug that was fixed with Beta 7.
Ironically, I complain but haven't really encountered it in some time (not that I receive many videos shot on iPhone). My report in Feedback still shows it as "Open" with more than 10 reports.

I am in the "release tomorrow after event camp" or secondly, RC tomorrow and release Thursday. Either way think we will see the final version tomorrow.
Dang I was about to add to this post that a same build as beta 8 wouldn’t surprise me since only 1 build more than beta 7. Guess I missed my opportunity 😀

I was joking bro xx

on this thread, you can never be too sure! 🤣😂

I just wish the airplay to homepod bug was fixed it’s messed up on mine using music, laggy and sometimes pauses on its own
I’m beyond fed up with the HomePod Mini not fully functioning consistently as a stereo pair. Whether it’s playing audio natively or via Airplay, it will suddenly stop playing out of the right for a period, then back to both, and it happens too much.

I think Public release will be an updated build from the RC release or they will release 14.5.1 a couple weeks after 14.5 public.

This version has been beta tested extraordinarily long. Even longer than a major iOS 13 to 14 update. Maybe it's something to do with the ATT?

I am going with 14.5.1 the week of the 03/05/21 or 10/05/21, rather than public release being an updated build.

ATT? I'm blanking on what you mean by ATT.

macOS 11.4 beta has just dropped. I wonder if we will see anything else today?
I was thinking the same. I'm wondering if iOS 14 will move into more of a support mode with only small updates for bug/security fixes, as WWDC and iOS 15 Beta 1 are due out in 6-8 weeks. That said, we saw iOS 13.5, 13.6 and 13.7 released in the May - Sept timeframe, so who knows what Apple has up their sleeve.

I see nothing on developer page.
