Here's hoping! Part of me was thinking it might not be out for a while. Basically everything announced so far doesn't become available until the second half of May. That being said though...by that time, it takes this already long beta cycle into what I would consider "ridiculously long" territory.
iPads not out til late May, but since AirTags are available next Friday, we have to have 14.5 public release before they get into peoples hands.

I‘m 100% certain AirTags already work with iOS 14.3 and up, since there have been traces of them for months.

I haven’t seen anything though that says AirTags relies on 14.5. Not saying you guys are wrong, I am genuinely asking.
