Do we think beta 8 could be the final build as in when the official public release comes out it will be same build number but obv without the letter and small build number, has happened before, I hope the final version is a higher build :)

I can’t imagine it being too many builds higher.

The release candidate of iOS 14.5 is going to be this week :). I hope Apple releases the new iOS 14.5 by this Friday. That would be so dope.
With 8 betas (the most ever for a X.1 release) , an RC isn’t needed. If devs don’t have their apps ready after nearly 3 months of betas, that’s their problem. The final release could contain all the necessary new product support. Fingers crossed for a release soon after the event.

So, what will be next? 14.6 or 15… And a new thread? Eight betas is too many, and so is 215 pages of this
What will be next will be iOS 15 development and the occasional surprise 14.5.1 or 2 release.

Im sticking with RC today and public release next week (Wednesday or Thursday) in time for AirTags on 30th.

If AirTags were available this week, we would have had public release today.
