Yeah I hate when random people hover over my shoulders when I'm checking out and then wait for me outside and take my phone and use it to buy stuff before I can disable it. So annoying.

As a person who works in IT, I can see how disastrous this may turn out.
Surely the whole point is that your Watch unlocks your iPhone for convenience but you use your Watch for ApplePay.
Pretty sure there’s a rule that equates to “don’t feed the t****”.
So someone that like a lot of people prefer to be able to unlock their phone using Facial recognition for Apple Pay is a t****

You're right. It's frustrating when features don't always work as intended/promised, I've been there.
It's almost like features that were never promised in the first place, but added on the fly (and also worked on/developed under atypical conditions) in response to an unprecedented situation, should be heavily tested, re-tested and tuned before releasing them to the public, to avoid repeating similar failures and/or instability.
Time to drag this thread back to its intended subject?
