From beta 3 to 4 it will still be 2 weeks and from 4 to 5 another 2 weeks and then from beta 5 weekly updates that’s going from past experiences
Exactly, like I said, that is the "supposed" schedule. Although 2020 is everything but normal...

Sorry, not Jon, I meant Jeff.

I called Apple Support (my internal source) I don’t wanna reveal the agent’s name in case of getting caught by Apple, but they said the next beta is coming.

Any chance that there's a new beta this week only because Apple promised a WatchOS 7 public beta "In July"?

Certainly they could release that watchOS separately from a new iOS 14 beta, but new versions of those betas tend to come out in tandem, no?

That watchOS 7 public beta this year could be a variable that throws off the "typical" cycle from years past, I'd think.

Edit: Clarified in my opening line/question that I was referring to the Public Beta as I am in my last line...just forgot "public" in that first mention! Whoops.

Stranger things have happened

You're correct, watchOS 7 public beta promised in July is what I meant.

Edited my original post to clarify that, but thanks for reading between the lines to get me! 🙂
Watch Apple release the watchOS 7 public beta on July 31st...

I wouldn’t put it passed them.

Or, it could be that they're going to miss the window, as they weren't ready to release in July. Things change once Betas get into the wider world. Apple don't have to tell us if they're running late. It's happened before.

I’m giving today about a 20% chance. Mainly because Apple has been doing things so differently seemingly all the time. But also because it’s a Tuesday.

I’d say the latter is WAY more likely than Apple releasing the first ever public beta on a device that hitherto has not been restorable. On a Friday.

But hey, it could happen!

If Apple released WatchOS 7 Public Beta on Friday, I would be shocked.

I am certain that WatchOS 7 public beta will be released with a iOS Public Beta, just because they're that consistent.

I would say that it's a 2% chance of a release today. I'm 98% sure it's next week.

Have they ever before released a beta six days after the last one?

Yea, but not until after Dev Beta 5
