Apple is very unpredictable nowadays.

Tbh everything so far, in regards to iOS 14 beta, has been very predictable. New betas every two weeks on Tuesday and then weekly cycle starting again on Tuesday. Looking at iOS release history charts, this year has been the most predictable from all.

My wife and I both have 11PM, and they are sometimes different.

9to5mac usually post an article about an upcoming beta 5 minutes before the release, so that it looks like they have had information from before, which is actually not the case. Not sure why people are falling for this.

Last year, they got caught out, you can tell they prescheduled to auto post at 5 to the hour every other week (then weekly when it shifted), but had to pull one when it really went off kilter.

Nope lol, most of us have been pretty spot on by using the past for educated guessing.

Does that mean we’re on same day public betas? In three hours?

Think that's what happened in the past, DB switching to weekly, meant PB came out about 3-6 hours after, rather than next day.

Or maybe they assumed it would always be fortnightly, and missed that we go weekly with beta 6, usually

Looking like a strong possibility the next Apple Watch and iPad will be released via a press release, going off Jon prodder track record he’s gotten a fair few product release dates correct.

Can’t see apple rushing the iOS 14 release just for the the new Apple Watch, it’ll get released when it’s ready.

Can’t see apple rushing the iOS 14 release just for the the new Apple Watch, it’ll get released when it’s ready.

If the Watch is shipping with WatchOS 7 then iOS 14 will need to be released in time for the watches being released, which if the rumoured press release around the 8th is true then the GM of iOS 14 would need to be around the same time as GM usually releases a week before the public release.

Well, you're not the first, as many of us have said 2 weeks ago, if not before, that we are on weekly releases..... which we've said again over the last 2 weeks repeatedly.

beta 6 for macOS big Sur 11 not yet released.
This means beta 7 for iOS cannot get released next week as the beta 6 for macOS will be there next week.
