Shouldn’t they anyway? It’s no secret new phones come out in early Autumn (Northern Hemisphere, of course!) every year.
You would think, but most people don’t quite have our interest so don’t have any idea when new phones come out.

I’m thinking a decent possibility it lands today. I see no real reason why we would have gone to a one week turn only to return to a 2 week turn. Somehow 13.7 was the culprit, I think.

But if not today, it will not be til at least Tuesday. No one should suggest tomorrow - a Friday, and a Friday before a long holiday weekend in the US.

Since rumors are all pointing to a September release for the Apple Watch

If anything’s going to be released next week it will probably be the rumoured entry level low priced watches (upgrades to the S3) which will justify just a press release and will come with watchOS 6.

Probably why we haven’t seen a watchOS 6 update in quite a awhile because it might give some indication of these watches.

The series 6 watches will come in October after the keynote and that will come with watchOS 7 and iOS 14

So, no B7 yesterday, after all. I'm doubtful we will see it today, definitely not tomorrow. It's definitely an interesting one! Curious to see if we get it Tuesday, but maybe Wednesday since Monday is a holiday in the US. If nothing next week, then I suspect the next one might be the GM.

Seems there's now a requirement to preface your speculation with a disclaimer that you're speculating despite the title of the thread. Pretty sure if someone with connections was coming in and dropping facts they would say so.
I think we all agree that (nearly?) everything here is speculation. I think we purists are simply asking that people contribute something rather than naked (speculative) assertions. I'm done on this topic, however. (everyone can breathe a big sigh of relief, I'm sure!)

That is why this is called the Speculation Thread!

would be so nice if people used terms like I think, or based on this I fell this will happen.

comments like this is going to happen on this day with no explanation of logic are a waste, if you think that will happen tell us why, help us buy into your logic. Your baseless speculation is quickly forgotten.

This sure is the weirdest year I’ve ever seen. Assuming the watch requires 14 and Jon’s report is correct, and Apple is trying to at least save some revenue this quarter, I’m guessing it will be announced next week for order a week later on Friday. That would allow a beta this week, next week and GM the following week On Tuesday or Wednesday.
But if no beta today my theory starts to fall apart.

I completely agree. And I’ve said it before, and I will say it again, there are quite a few posters here who just keep chucking in the same old crap to get their post count up. Completely baseless posts which in my admittedly biased opinion should be deleted.

Anyway, based on no releases as of yet, and no rumours, I speculate we won’t see anything till next week.
