Spotlight Search is visually "broken" on my IPP 2020, there is no background blur anymore, the Search Window is just "on top".
Doesn't look very good.

Hard nope ;-)
There's another IPP 2018 and iPad Mini 5 here which we just updated, same thing: no blur when you pull down Spotlight Search.
I really wonder how they missed that ...

Seeing this in my iPad, not my iPhone. It wasn’t there before the RC build, that’s for sure & since that was public release, that’ll be why you’re seeing it.

So the only issue I’m having is my Geekbench scores, specially the multi are down on both my m1 iPad and my 13 pro max. Going to give it more time as the updates are freshly installed but hopefully that’s all it needs

Yep. Constructive criticism is perfectly fine — we all want Apple to do better (and sometimes they even listen!). But if the experience of using Apple hardware and software is really as miserable as some of these folks lead us to believe based on their posts here, they probably really are better off just cutting their losses and jumping over to Android and Windows. Seriously.
For some, I suspect its like that little jag on your finger or toe-nail. Its not a big deal but you keep thinking about it, until it becomes an obsession. And then it drives you crazy.

(Other people have experienced this, right? RIGHT?!?!?!?)

So is this storage bug affecting many users I wonder or just a selected few that complain here on the forums?

These are the kind of issues I try to avoid and wait to update till around Christmas time or when the x.2 or x.3 updates come out and clean up these nagging annoying issues.

You are correct. Same on my 2021 M1 iPad Pro. The blur is still there on my phone, both are now on 15.1.

I've yet to see a mention of it anywhere that wasn't in a thread in this forum.

Yes. just did that myself. Have always worried about losing the little cardboard record or having it become smudged.
Mine was super easy. Went back to state if ca site, entered info and link had option to add to wallet and health.

Note that this doesn't apply if you were vaccinated at a provider that does not send records to the state immunization registry (e.g. federal facilities, military, Veterans Affairs, anywhere out of state, etc). There is a process for California residents to have their vaccination record imported into the state registry (where it can be synced and added to Wallet), but it can take 2-3+ weeks for processing.

It makes absolutely no difference.
I did it awhile ago hoping it would install faster but it still takes forever “preparing the update” for 45 minutes.

8 minutes buddy via IPSW to install iOS 15.1. 8!!!!. ?
No way OTA is that quick.

Each of us have our preferred way and I know that’s yours. But time wise it’s similar for me OTA. About 2 minutes to download, preparing and verifying under 10 and final installation about 5, maybe close to 10 on a big one. I haven’t done it any other way since OTA became a thing.

smashes OTA out the park baby.
