I think there is something to be said for keeping good maintenance on your phones in the beta cycles. Takes a little extra time but the rewards are worth it.

Like, when you get to the end of a cycle, do a clean restore on the official build, ready for the next beta increment.

If an app is playing up, delete it, and reinstall. Don’t wait for an update.

Hard restarts and network resets after new beta installs.

For me, doing the above and using IPSW installs has been great on iOS15. I’m honestly not seeing 75% of bugs that get posted. If you have a phone you just keep chucking beta after beta on, it’s gonna be F’d without any care.
This!.....but especially this:

Never done either after an installation. I do restart my devices the day after any ios update. Haven’t done a network reset in years. If I have a runaway app that’s quickly draining the battery I will do a hard restart but haven't had to in at least a year, probably more. And I only do OTA updates since they first became available ages ago. But I don’t install early betas on any device, I no longer have a spare, sacrificial, device to use so I wait till late versions of those to mess with. And fortunately the 15.3 betas have been problem free For me.

Night two looks better on usage. A minute of Home and Photos usage at 2300 and 0000 (which could be anywhere between 1 and 60 seconds) and then again at 0500. No activity between and nothing from messages. Everything else seems to be as good as beta 1 so I'm very happy with this build.

Camera
Even though it is turned off in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings, each time I launch Camera, Live Photo is turned on.
Had this in beta 1 and after a couple of hard reboots it was fixed. Have done that in beta 2 however it hasn’t helped this time.

Installed beta2 OTA in afternoon on 13 Mini. Turned phone off then back on 10-15 minutes after install.
Synced to PC with iTunes. Turned phone off again and back on.
Minimal use thru rest of afternoon on charger.

Around 6 PM turned phone off and on again, removed from charger at 100%.
No use until 9:AM next morning and when checked battery was still 100%.
Turned phone off and on again (as I do every morning) and was still at 100%.
No battery complaints here.

My “Preserve Settings” - Live Photo is enabled. The way I read the description is having this enabled prevents the camera from reverting to Live Photo when it had been turned off. Anyway mine does not engage Live Photo since I rarely use it. If I do use it and don’t manually change it back afterward it will revert to Live the next time I launch the camera, that seems normal to me and keeps Live off unless I actually want it, but I do have to remember to set it back to normal afterward.

I'll give that a shot again.
I did neglect to put it into my original post that I have tried this also.
Thanks!

I'll call it a maybe.
I am still seeing that at times I have to tap an app a second time to get it to launch.

Same here on the touch registration. It was very intermittent with me so I need more time. I had reported it to apple while on 15.2. All they did was have me try it after a factory restore on 15.2, which didn't help.

Battery seems really good.

No issue with Privacy relay yet (I have it enabled on my Macbook Pro too).

Not sure if mentioned, HOME app on the iPhone says "Account" in Red. I've re-entered my password, rebooted both HomePods, numerous times. Still asking me to enter/verify the password. Had same issue with Beta 1.

Same here.

Anyone experiencing issues with songs not showing up in your library after adding it from Apple Music?
Seems to only occur on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I’m able to successfully add songs to my library on my iPad.
