?? here we go again. ?
Well, we have to take Tim Cook (or whoever said July) at their word. No reason not to. Just be patient. Think of all the bugs you're not having to deal with. This is a pretty good first beta, but it IS a first beta and it does have bugs. Widgets aren't updating (I had an entire screen of blank ones on my iPad this morning and had to restart to get them to populate), features like Focus are not quite working right all the time, Shortcuts misfire, etc., etc... By the time you get the beta, it will be much more polished.

Exactly, plus as much as sometimes Apple have bucked their own trends with iOS 14, they never had public beta early for 14.0 and have very rarely done it sooner Than stated. So it’s just being realistic.

Right, I think the 1st Public Beta is generally the 2nd or 3rd Dev Beta. And considering we'll all go at least 2 weeks on Dev Beta 1, maybe even 2 weeks on Dev Beta 2? Public Beta 1 would be after Dev Beta 3, and because they said July, Public Beta 1 will probably launch after the long 4th of July weekend. Maybe even Calendar Week #28.

Hello,

i was curious about ios 15 and i decide to install it and its working almost smooth.

My question, it will be some fix to download without bugs, or i need to wait untill final version will be available?

i mean, for example in 2 weeks it will be update and better version released?

I would say that it would be best to expect each build to be "better" than the last until the final launch. Although, each build would be worked to make "more stable." Be advised that newer builds may introduce new bugs that might actually be worse than the old ones from before. Realistically, it is a roller coaster. There will be plenty of Highs and Lows along the way.

Thanks, but what u think , when can we expect new built? One month?
Looking overall, Apple usually releases a build every 2 weeks(except when effected by a US holiday.) If a holiday affects the build release, usually they are deferred one more week.

Now, Apple has been known to throw curve balls from time to time, there is no way to guarantee that the builds will be bi-weekly. Just keep up to date as they come in and you should be fine. Just expect weird issues and bugs from time to time.

Usually the betas are dropped every two to three weeks. However sometimes some of those betas are terrible.

Generally, newer means better. But it‘s always a good idea to wait a few hours and check on here because horrible builds do happen (legit bricking issues that get fixes shortly after) or generally builds with annoyances.

I would agree. The long weekend is the wildcard here. Deffo not gonna be beforehand. Could see them doing DB3 on the Wednesday and PB1 on the Thursday. I don‘t see them having the gap between DB2 and DB3 be 3 weeks and this is assuming DB2 comes next week.

Last year, we got PB1 2 days after the first DB in July Tuesday, then Thursday, from memory.

I'm usually a public beta person (let my developer account expire when they first started doing public betas).

I have to say, I have had ZERO issues with DB1 on my daily driver so far. Every app I have used works as expected and no battery issues, no restarts...nothing.

I went back to the developer beta just so I could try out the new Maps...boy, I'm glad I did...they're incredible.

Based on this alone, I'm speculating DB2 on Tuesday 6/22 and PB1 on Wednesday 6/23.

In settings, software update, it will tell you a new beta is available, if you’re on Betae 1 now. Otherwise check the front page/forum.

yup, you can always go into Settings -> General -> Software update and that will confirm you have the latest version. Look for Beta 2 next week, probably Tuesday, at a guess. You'll see the MR home page showing an article when it's out too. Plus there will be a Beta 2 thread in this forum at the top in the stickies.

I could of sworn they announced the public beta for July
