Did anybody get a screenshot of the popup that it shows on now playing screen about the new favorites feature?

Already submitted feedback asking for a toggle to turn on/off wallpaper extension. Anyone not enjoying that effect, let me know and I'll share the feedback code.

I'm not seeing what you're saying.

I see the hidden instructions about DFU mode in the first post, but the issue is that DFU restore is not working.

It seems like if you have a 15/Plus/Pro/Max and you've installed 17.1 Beta 1, you cannot downgrade to 17.0.2.

Confirmed!

You can’t restore. It’s a bug.
Unless it’s an iPhone 15 you can go back to 16.6.1 and move forward from there.
Edit: Posted this before seeing the clarification above. I discovered at the weekend that macOS Finder would not let me go back from 17.0.1 to 17.0 that I could do it by restoring to 16.6.1 and then updating to 17.0.

Anyone on Vodafone UK downloaded the first 17.1 Beta and seen if 5G SA is an option?

I know select Samsung handsets have it as an option where they have coverage - just curious.

It's a bit of a con, from discussions elsewhere, even customers with a Samsung (s21 series iirc) and the correct plan can't get Vodafone to activate 5G SA (5G Ultra in Voda speak).

Vodafone announced it just to be able to claim being first, but unless it's changed recently, it seems only a select group of staff have access.

I know. I’m in the UK. If you know the answer, why not write that rather than trying to be as unhelpful as possible. But I figured it out anyway.

For anyone else who might want a more helpful answer, if you have a supported bank in the UK, go into wallet, press on the card you already have stored there and the option to link the bank account is there.
Thanks, just enabled this on my Nationwide account ( looking at the list of transactions I probably spend too much time in the pub 🍺 ) 😁

Anyone knows if someone was able to "extract" the new ringtones (possibly from the ipsw if that is even something possible nowadays) and posted them somewhere?

Why bother? They will be back probably in beta 2 if not 3 as 17.1 plays catch up on the release version in some areas.
Realized I was going to get that first answer the moment I posted this without adding more info as: Not juste because they are gone in 17.1 but as I would want to use them on other non-IOS devices :)

Oh I see. I’ll have a look at IPSW and get back to you. Probably all encrypted though. We will see.

EDIT: it wont let me "show package content's" so I'm wondering if Xcode lets you in more or Configurator, at a guess.

That is my assumption as in the past (i have all the classic ones) they generally popup the next day but have not seen anything. But really appreciate you looking!
One cool usage as I have is on my windows machine (where i have all notifications disabled but just for one app) using Phone Link, where you can have your phone notifications, i have it set to use the same ringtones as ios so that i easily differentiate it from other sounds especially when phone is away somewhere. Very niche but cool :). And ofc use them on a spare android etc. It's handy as you get used to which tone is for which, regardless of the phone/device.
