Also confirmed. Just did a restore from 17.1B3 to 17.0.3 on Sonoma (14).on iPhone 15 Pro .. did it last night
Wi-Fi should have been working correctly on 5GHz networks since day. No other iOS 17 devices we have are experiencing issues. Only the iPhone 15 Pro.
So to replicate a "glitch" you repeatedly introduce non-standard behaviour until you accidentally hit a spot that doesn't work?To replicate, you have to swipe down over and over again varying your start position so that you happen to hit that specific spot where it doesn't work.
I made a video showing the behavior (first showing where it works, then showing where it doesn't work):
Swiping offset to the right slightly works, swiping exactly in the center works, but as you move left, it starts to glitch out (around :16 seconds)
My sleep focus alarm shows on the Lock Screen when the sleep focus is active (in the scheduled time range)Seems that they have removed the lock screen alarm widget from adding the sleep schedule alarm totally. Only thing it shows now are added alarms no matter what sequence, reboot etc. It was a nice run![]()
The Up Next alarm widget for displaying my sleep scheduled alarm has been broken since 16.0.2, I think.Seems that they have removed the lock screen alarm widget from adding the sleep schedule alarm totally. That's different. This display during sleep focus works for me but they're talking about the 'Up-Next' alarm widget for the lock screen. My sleep focus alarm shows on the Lock Screen when the sleep focus is active (in the scheduled time range)
That seems to be how a lot of users find "glitches". Their chance to get their 15 minutes of fame .... by finding things that no user would actually do in real life. Congrats to them!So to replicate a "glitch" you repeatedly introduce non-standard behaviour until you accidentally hit a spot that doesn't work?
Yeah correct. Mine would get jacked up but an off, on, reboot, set manual alarm and turn off, blah blah would finally get it working until the next update. Now it totally ignores sleep focus time in the 'up next'. Thanks for the clarification. That's different. I can't understand for the life of me why they can't get this working properly. My Apple Watch always shows my sleep alarm correctly in its widget. I've filed multiple feedback tickets on it since last year.Yeah correct. Isn’t that kind of how software (beta) testing works? 🤔So to replicate a "glitch" you repeatedly introduce non-standard behaviour until you accidentally hit a spot that doesn't work?
Not really. You don’t check to see if iOS can order a pizza for you just to show that it can’t.Isn’t that kind of how software (beta) testing works? 🤔

My 15 pro too but I’m not mad , I haven’t seen no throttle on this phone even when I’m charging it on a hot day with a better pack , I hate phones that lowered the brightness when is hot , this one hasn’t done it and I love itMy iPhone 15 Pro Max is still getting warm when using it. Anyone else the same?
Jfc, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect one the primary functions of the phone to work 100% of the time without failure. The phone is designed to be swiped anywhere from the top, except for the right corner, to open Notification Center. It’s not non-standard. And on the 15 Pro Max , the swipe-for-notifications only works reliably if you swipe in the upper left corner of the screen. That’s stupid. And it’s probably going to be a problem forever, just like the stupid square-notifications bug that STILL hasn’t been fixed (and even has a confirmed-as-bug status on feedback now). I understand random small bugs, but not bugs like this that affect the basic functions of the phone 🤪🤪🤪🤪So to replicate a "glitch" you repeatedly introduce non-standard behaviour until you accidentally hit a spot that doesn't work?
Shows connected but no actual day is transmitted. Have to drop the network and get back on to re-establish a connection. It’s only happening on 5GHz band and my router does not even do 160 bandwidth…it only can do 40 or 80.What wifi problem are you having problem with the iPhone 15 Pro? It works here even @160MHz.

That bug I've been having for at least 3 years. Sometimes iOS will just say it's connected but doesn't load anything whatsoever, turning WiFi off and on is the only solution. Network reset, phone reset, nothing fixed this. Persisted through multiple devices, from my iPad Air 2 through to my 15 Pro Max. (The iPad Air 2 started producing this iPadOS 13-14 I think)Shows connected but no actual day is transmitted. Have to drop the network and get back on to re-establish a connection. …but the i (standing for internet, individual, instruct, inform, and inspire) comes first. Presumably making those the primary functions. If someone asked me what the primary function of an iPhone is, my reply would be: to make a call. It’s a phone first, always has been. Its even in the title… iPhone.
battery was still terrible for me on public version of Apple Watch S7 and 15P.Believe I’m seeing positive improvement on my iPhone with respect to battery life since DB3 and restarting my Apple Watch (running 10.0.2) yesterday afternoon.
I teach college students, and the only time they ever use their iPhones for phone calls is to talk with their parents (which they do 13.8 times per week, on average - a bit different from my average of 1 time per week as a college student back in the day). Otherwise, they're using their iPhones for social media, gaming, and watching videos - at least, according to what I observe when they're in class and supposed to be paying attention. ;-)If someone asked me what the primary function of an iPhone is, my reply would be: to make a call. It’s a phone first, always has been. Its even in the title… iPhone.
Or in this currently very confused world, are we now not associating the iPhone as a phone anymore, some might call it a brick 🤷🏽😆
