For anyone in the UK, do banking and VPN apps work? I want to try out the beta but of course I need access to my money and I need my VPN to work for travelling. I know I could just reset my phone but can't be bothered setting everything up again. If the banking/VPN apps work then I can deal with any other bugs or issues.

You’re not even going to tell us WHICH banking or VPN apps you use?

In that case, sure…they’re working just fine!!

Thank you, that's helpful! :)

If you knew some are broken all you had to say was "yeah some have issues but it depends". If you don't know then don't reply to me because that'd be no help. Infact you're no help at all and just being rude. The reason I asked was because I remember having issues with banking/vpn apps with iOS 15 beta but iOS 16 beta there were no issues. Again, a simple answer would have done but you feel like you need to be rude about it? Great help, thanks...

Or you could have been more specific…or went to the correct thread stickied right at the top of the forum…or used the search function…or..::

Personally, I am going to start ignoring any post from someone asking for help that doesn't indicate that they tried to search for the answer first. Laziness should not be rewarded.

Apparently Apple has this round of Weather all messed up. All devices on beta.
Yesterday afternoon - my location - Afternoon monsoon rains (Prescott Valley Az)

iPad Pro 11 - showed cloudy with rain and lightning. Pretty cool. Temp 87F
iPhone 13 ProMax - Showed partly cloudy. No rain. Temp 88F
Watch Ultra - Meridian - Showed temp of 83F
Watch Ultra - weather opened after pressing on Temp - Showed warm (yellow orange color) and Temp 81F

Actual weather conditions: Cloudy, rain windy lightning 81F.

Just one of those "we have no real clue" kinda weather event days. ;)

If you are saying that you can delete an SMS from any of your devices, and it deletes across the board, then you are the first person that I’ve come across that this works for. It has never ever worked for me since day one. You, and anyone else this works for are very lucky.

Just tested this out.
iPhone 13 ProMax (sim) and iPad Pro 11 G4 (wifi) - both on iOS 17 b3

Sent SMS to phone and it was forwarded to the iPad

Deleted SMS off of iPad - SMS untouched on iPhone
Resent SMS - forwarded to iPad just fine.
Deleted SMS off of iPhone - SMS untouched on iPad

As of this morning, this still does not work.

Some good news on this front anyway.

Thanks. That’s exactly how it is for me. I don’t know why it has never ever worked for me, and many many others, but seemingly has worked for others for years.

You should only need to do that once (as upgrading the OS often wipes the stored passwords, requiring them to be re-entered). If you're having to do it each time, check your settings.

I've checked my settings. When I sign in, then I don't have to for maybe 15 minutes. But later I have to sign in again for a free app.

As much as I like the changes... I’ve recently come to the conclusion that the improved camera processing is not worth the battery hit. My 14PM is already at 200 cycles so I went back. I’ll just skip ahead to iOS 18 when the time comes to switch. Keep on testing y’all! 😁 It was fun.

Just have to make sure that iCloud sync for Messages is enabled across all of your devices. Just set it up for my Father's iPhone and iPad and it works.

That function has never worked for me on watchOS and it‘s set up properly everywhere.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that both of you are outside the US? Doubtful but it is a common denominator.
