Whoever is hoping to be able to install iOS 17 through ipsw without having a developer account, forget it. And if you use Windows, then forget it completely, because Apple does not start signing the betas until the RC or final version, in recent years it has been like that, and iTunes will not be updated until the same day that iOS 17 is released Or maybe later. You can't install the builds like you can install the current mid-betas.
Last year without going any further, I downloaded each and every one of the ipsw betas, to try if by chance they signed it, and it always gave me an error obtaining SHSH from apple servers. This with 3utools of course, it was updated in mid-June with compatibility for ios 16, this year I suppose the same will happen.
only a developer with access to a mac and the resources that apple has at his disposal can update or restore with the ipsw files until september.
At least, until now it has been so. It is up to Apple to give more freedom in this, but seeing the decisions to restrict access to the developer beta program, I do not expect any change.
It's time to arm yourself with patience I think.
