Not seeing iOS yet. Slow rollouts, except for tvOS and just now MacOS for me.

iOS 17.3 beta has collaborative playlists back and the new security protection to prevent someone from simply using a stolen password with your phone. People with public 17.2 will just have to wait several weeks.

Debating whether I want to put 17.3 beta 1 on my phone since we probably won't see a beta 2 for a month... I'm thinking its coming today!
I usually give this one a day or two and then dive in...That's enough time to see if there's anything wonky or any show stoppers.

The super-smooth scrolling seems to have gone away. I’m getting some minor frame drops scrolling up and down this page.

I’ll give it a day to settle but the change was immediately noticeable with 17.2.

15PM here.

Other then iOS offering again the collaborative playlists and the new stolen device protection, this .3 beta cycle for the various OS per the SDK notes is mostly regulated to bug fixes again as 15.3 and 16.3 was.

The is just a very short beta 2/RC cycle again. Going by number of days/day of the week likely Tuesdays Jan 9th and Jan 16th, released Jan 22 on a Monday. More changes arrive with iOS 17.4 its seems.

soon as in the week after new years probably
The higher the release version the less likely Apple will continue to provide patches as often as 17.0, 17.1 with 17.2. The current 17.3 beta has only a very short bug fix life, irregardless of the two changes. (protection/collaborative playlists). Security patches do occur, but we can't speculate on that very well.

If the second beta for iOS 17.3 doesn’t add any additional new features, I think the iPadOS 17.3 beta cycle should be pretty short. Maybe we’ll see the public release of 17.3 sooner, and bypass a 17.2.1 update altogether. 🤷🏼‍♂️
