What version are your home hub devices? (Apple TV or HomePod hubs)

Try rebooting your home hubs.

Mine are ok homepods are on 18.0 public beta Apple TV on dev betas of 18.
Running latest iOS betas on all home hubs worth giving them a reboot first good shout!

Source for that statement?
I am not saying that statement is 100% correct, but others here and sources were saying the RAM was the reason devices weren't getting AI. From the source Apple, RAM and NPU were the major factors.

It may just be me, but I am now kind of glad they made the cut off. I don't want anything else eating at my battery on my 14 PM. Plus something else eating at performance not a big fan of that either.

We are only at the very beginning of Apple AI, so I wanted to see how it evolves over this beta and how it runs. Make my buying decision for Fall.

What I noticed with iOS 18.1 is my phone gets hot when I have the belkin 5K battery pack on the phone.

This did not happen with iOS 18.0 betas.

Anyone else notice phone getting hot with a MagSafe block charger on?

Further to this I got a warning the phone is to hot and has stopped charging.

Can someone try this on iOS 17 or iOS 18 beta 4?

Ask Siri to:
“Take a screenshot then send it to *contact*

It actually does this on 18.1, so I’m wondering if that’s been a thing or it’s new?

I tried it with a couple different docs while offline and was able to use the writing tools just fine.

Pretty sure that was a thing before. I recall doing this with my daughter and bring amazed. And then never used it again.

The proof read, rewrite, friendly, professional and concise work for me on iPad with WiFi off, but the summary, key points etc do not

Yup , checked further and those aren’t working for me either.

I can’t find the way to get Memory Maker to work in my photos app. What am I missing ?
Edit: never mind. Scrolled down to Memories and found it. Duhh.

Besides the battery life being absolute garbage, I‘m pretty impressed with the 18.1 DB. I haven’t used the AI features much, but in my experience so far they’ve worked pretty decently. Wondering if we’ll get 18.1 DB 2 next week alongside 18.0 DB 5.

Generally curious, is this useful? Something you would use on a regular bases? Trying to figure out what I would use in AI.
