Maybe beta 3 added Canada. I’m in Canada and with beta 1 and 2 I had to set US English in region settings.
Mine got stuck at like 90% and I killed the Photos app and came back in and it moved to the next phase of Preparing...
Reader is there, not here in the forum that I could see. Went to an article and tried, and it was there
Messages, on the emoji page! At the top of the keyboard it said "generate an emoji" and when I tapped that this screen popped up
Now seeing a badge number for the summarized Mail messages. Was that there before?
Also, in the "not sure if it was there before" department, if I'm in Messages and select the Emoji button, then tap into the Search Emoji text box, I get a single row of emoji (that looks like it is the recently used emoji). Is that new?

Just updated to 18.1 b3 on my 15 Pro. The Messages app is still freezing when I open it, just like it did on b2. It freezes until it crashes. Eventually after maybe 5-10 minutes it sometimes starts working, at which point it works normally until the next time the app does a fresh start, at which point it becomes totally frozen again. Can't even scroll.
I believe it was extended to any form of English during beta 2.
Sounds like they've got it set so that Reader mode appears only on pages where it is mostly text.
I’m surprised that apps like Podcasts, TV and Health don’t have the top tab?, I also find it odd that Podcasts doesn’t rename Browse to New like Music does considering that they usually mirror the changes.
Says that for me on beta 2 of iOS 18.1. Pretty sure it’s been worded like that for a while though. Off to beta 3 now!
New. It was there last beta though. It’s the AI summaries showing you how many notifications it’s summarized.
You no longer need to change your device region to use Apple Intelligence, I’ve just changed my iPhone and iPad back to English UK and Apple intelligence is working fine. Just make sure you keep the system and Siri language at English US
I lost all of my dark icons, everything reverted to white even though im using dark system theme. Anyone else have this issue?
