How stable is 18.1 beta 4?
Is it built on the stable 18 with beta .1 features? Or does it take you backwards in user experience.
Don’t mind if the beta features like Apple intelligence, clearing photos, etc… etc… don’t work as intended.
Just came out of iOS 18 beta and it has already beaten my battery, don’t want to get on another beta if it is not on stable iOS 18.

I'm using it on my M4 iPad Pro and it's perfectly fine. Beta 3 was really fine for me already. It really feels like iOS 18 with Apple Intelligence on top, nothing else.

The Passwords app on iPad…

Has anyone had any success with eye tracking? My experience with it has been awful.

I feel like some of the issues people are seeing is that for each release, Apple Intelligence is initiating a download of a new model. Until the new model is installed, some weird behavior is experienced…and a reboot seems to force a model refresh. I wonder if Apple can push model updates without a version update.

Yeah similar using the camera app even dialing exposure as low as I could go. But I did get a decent shot with Halide.

I missed the eclipse and living in southwestern PA makes seeing the northern lights a joke on account of our cloud cover, but I did get a couple fun shots with my Nikon and 300mm.

(Attached are from Instagram since MR can’t take a real image file.)
