If you think tinted icons are profound, you need to get out more. With everything they announced for ios18, Google has been doing it for ages. Apples seems so far behind these days. They need to come up with something that nobody else is doing.
How do they seem so far behind now? They pretty much caught up on a majority of the AI features, and did them quite well integrating it within the entire OS. Google has most definitely not been doing mostly on device AI for ages, that was quite recent.

i know but since iOS18 there is no information symbol anymore .. just the call back option in the recent list ..

so there is no possibility to block numbers afterwards you know, that this was a spam call ..
You don't need the little information symbol anymore. The entire number serves as that function now. (it no longer accidentally calls the spammer back if you tap on their number.)

Here’s a strange thing that I’m seeing today. There’s a whole different behavior when it come to Play Next in the music app. The two screenshots are taken one day apart. Yesterday I had the option to Play Last with the name of whatever that last song is going to be. Whereas today I’m just seeing the option to Add to Queue. A totally different thing than yesterday. Any ideas?

Any chance the scrubbing slider for voicemails in Phone have been made larger? I always have trouble hitting that

So many items I have on my S24U are finally starting to show in iOS. I am glad Apple is making an attempt to catch up.

@gwhizkids I am hopeful with AI in iOS. While Gemini might need work (they all do), there are so many AI features that Apple is finally getting. With both being closer, users will see better advances.

Photos has gone from annoying to a mess. Give me back Albums/Recents. Not to mention that all my previously deleted albums (empty thankfully) have resurfaced. Looking for a way to get Recents back but no joy. If someone knows how please post.

Camera > was hoping for some benefits there but they appear to be a bit worse for this beta. Crossing fingers.
See pic below and look at the wall where it meets. Not sure what the blemishes are. They are new. Btw - walls are white textured with lighting by overhead 40W cool led bulb.

but it appears the “uploaded image is too big” bug is still here. :(
Had to adjust it.

Needs the H2 chip so just the Pro 2 so far.

Works well, I’ve answered a few calls and dismissed Siri announcements.

Did they take out Developer Mode in settings? I don’t have the AirPods beta and I was checking to make sure I still had developer mode enabled. But it’s no longer under Privacy & Security.

A few weeks ago, I posted in the iOS 17 speculation thread that New York accidentally prematurely announced a mobile ID app on their government website.

Well, the officially announced it yesterday-

I'm going to check it out. Hopefully it supports Apple Wallet.

I'm sorry - but not for me .. iPhone 11 Pro ✌🏻

you could mak a contact called spam and block that contac, then add the number to that contact from the long press menu as a workaround. But I hope that blok number will be added to that menu
Or maybe they could just have a built in spam filter like Google/Samsung. Another thing Apple can’t do that Google can……..
