* the iPad now definitely opens youtube links more "cleverly".
before, i was watching youtube shows that had links to the 'next part' in the description, shortened by bit.ly
on 5.0.1, clicking that link would open a new tab with the video on m.youtube.com (resulting in plenty of tabs after a while which have to be deleted one by one, later)
now, clicking the link will swap me to safari for a second, followed by immediately swapping me back to the native youtube app.
* the new camera button on the iPad camera app (always on the righthand side now, even in portrait mode) is a welcome change. Funnily - especially in the context of Tim Cook mocking 'inflated Smartphone apps' - the previous iPad camera app was obviously an afterthough, being merely an inflated iPhone camera app with the same exact layout, but a shutter button always at the bottom (why?!)
* the slide-up-for camera really speeds things up. I love the little bounce it makes when you merely tap the camera icon, teasing the camera UI underneath. very intuitive way of teaching people to swipe up.
