phone calls over speaker do not always work for me. someone tried to call me 3 times earlier and only a reboot fixed it. my mum was like "why does it sound like there are Chinese people talking?". think its an issue with listening to music on speaker before a phone call takes over

Kinda odd, but they still have the old iTunes logo in the "iTunes WiFi Sync" section of Settings under General. I believe it's been there since Apple Music launched. Also, shouldn't the Lighting cable be black instead of white?

We need to wait 1 year for that stutter to be fixed in iOS 10 just like we waited 1 year for them to fix Weather app stutter.

Btw it's stutter not lag. Lag is the delay iOS 9 has while launching app when we tap on it's icon.
That little delay is gone compared to 9.0.2
And iOS X would just stutter/lag again like the start of 8/9 :p
Also weather app stutter? I don't think remember seeing that

I wish they would just change the behavior of having to wait until the spring/fade animation completely ends before you can start doing something again.

Say you are in an app and you hit home. The animation starts. In 8.4.1 and below I can be tapping on the next icon I want to open from the springboard and iOS knows it mid-animation and when the animation ends it immediately begins opening that next app. I love it. It's fast feels great.

In iOS 9 you have to wait till the animation is completely over before it registers your tap! So I'm sitting there tap tap tapping away at least 3-5 taps before things get moving again! It was jarring and it was the first thing I noticed in iOS 9 and it just feels clunky and weird.

Sure once things finally open performance is similar with iOS 8 but it's all about the fluidity and it just isn't there in iOS 9 yet. If this ever changes I'll be on board. Until then my 6 will stay on 8.4.1.

Is it still like this in beta 4?

I'm shocked at how large of an update this was but how little it changed/fixed. There's a little less of a delay when tapping apps maybe, but it still isn't up to the no-delay that was there on iOS 8.4.1.

Gosh, I hate how I'm glorifying iOS 8 now. It never even got to being as quick at iOS 7.1.x, and that never even got as quick as iOS 6.

Anyone else notice how with iOS 9.1 the keyboard stutters when popping up for spotlight? This is with an iPad mini 2. Spotlight was almost completely perfect on 9.0.

other people in this thread have theorized (and it's probably correct), that the size has to do with it being a beta and beta 4 probably being the "GM" or last beta before public release.

why does this come up every year since the iOS 7 redesign?

yes it is, I run the beta on my ipad and my wifes iphone 6 for testing purposes. If they ever change this back to like 8.4.1 was, I'll probably update my iphone 6. It is even more noticeable with reduce motion on.

Any ideas how touchID on the 6 is performing on 9.1?
I went back to 8.4.1 and thats the first thing I noticed - TouchID on iOS 9 was slowed down alot for iPhone 6

Photos app strange bug, a little thumbnail of the photo you view appears on screen when you try to swipe up to go back to the photo list.

1. Select a photo for viewing
2. Zoom in and out few times
3. Try to go back to the photo library by swiping up the photo. It won't work. Try for few times.
4. The little thumbnail appears over the main photo.

How's your health data on this beta? Is it present with a simple OTA over beta 3 to 4? I can't get any data to appear in beta 4 nor any sources. It won't let me add data points either? Is setting up as new the only remedy thus far to anyone that has encountered this? Thanks in advance!

I'd expect it to drop soon. Beta 4 seems pretty solid to me (the infamous and truly cataclysmic settings menu bug notwithstanding...!).

Anyone have this running on an Iphone 6s Plus? if so, how does it run?

Thanks in advance

a real performance improvement made on 9.1 beta 4..it's not like a beta..it's like a GM release.. very happy with that build.

Agreed! After updating to 9.0.2, my 6S+ was stuttering and slower. Touch ID was slower too. After updating to 9.1 beta 4, my phone is smooth and fast again. :D

My iPhone 5S is running REALLY hot with beta 4. Did that with beta 1 as well, but not betas 2 and 3.

This is the first beta update where my 6 is laggy. This has been the most buggy as well.

I have two observations. Has anyone noticed that the artist information is gone from the New page in Apple Music?

Also does anyone have a card in Wallet where two different set of card numbers overlap each other? One is the end of my card number, the other is not.

I'm not experiencing either of those issues on my 6+. In fact quite the opposite. My battery life is awesome, and aside from the appswitcher and occasionally when I unlock the phone, everything is super smooth now.
