Will try that. Did you not try that first?
This was going from 8.4.1 to 9.0.2, had my Mac right there with the ipsw and didn't feel like waiting.

I can't believe how much smoother it is with reduce transparency on. It's equivalent to the 6s. This is a bit sad.Seriously. I might just keep "reduce transparency" set to on until all this gets sorted. The 3D Touch menu on icons is so bad on the 6s Plus with these betas.
This isn't public is it?
no, but have there been major bugs in any release recently? So basically other than a labeling glitch and some button on/off animation glitch in the settings which on an importance scale of 1-10 are about a .1, no major bugs.
notifications sometimes come without any soundWhat's this issue?
Is this just on Beta 4 or was the silent notifications bug on the last build?notifications sometimes come without any sound
I can't believe that in 2015 we are still talking about things being slow and stuttering with all the technology in the world smh
yesA single tap on the home button on the Lock Screen when playing music brings up the time, looks strange. Always been like this?
This works in iOS 7, I'm not sure how old that feature is.A single tap on the home button on the Lock Screen when playing music brings up the time, looks strange. Always been like this?
That means nothing.
Give the best ingredients to an amateur chef and he still can't make you a Michelin star dish.
Yep veeeeery old, I remember doing this back on iOS 6.A single tap on the home button on the Lock Screen when playing music brings up the time, looks strange. Always been like this?
Throwing more engineers at a problem isn't necessarily the way to fix it. It's possible that it's still a semi-elusive issue that isn't getting as much internal attention as other issues. iOS 9 does have some more pressing issues...such as the random freezing thing.

I don't get it really - why does Apple use a blurring code that is inefficient even on its newest flagship phone? Or, why use it in places where they clearly can't achieve stutter-free operation?
Oh yeah, I know. It's just sad that it's STILL an issue. Yes, it was much worse on the 6 Plus, but you'd hope they would have fixed it this time around. The Reduce Transparency issue has been there since iOS 8.0.
Just clarifying that.
