Installed 9.1 beta 4 as part of the public beta and my beta profile disappeared and the feedback app disappeared.

Is this GM?

Honestly this "beta" has the build number of a stable release, that along with the recent fast pace of releases makes it seem like the final release isn't all that far off. (I wonder if it's this build, I'm guessing no or it would say GM?)

Im sure the GM will be 90% like this with only a few bugs fixed. Hopefully the animation stutters in Metal devices.

I couldn't be happier with beta 4 on both of my devices (6+, Air 2). Especially my 6+. Everything is running smoothly.

iOS 9 is so far ahead of iOS 8 in my opinion.

Apple has gone from betas straight to final releases before. It wouldn't be unprecedented.

Half of my iMessage's are sending as Text Messages. It started once Beta 3 came out and it's still happening with Beta 4.

Anyone having this issue? And how did you fix it?

My usual question buddies: can we scroll through photos now on the iCloud Drive app? I've been sending feedback on this like crazy, and is the settings bug... Oh, never-mind lol.
What do you mean scroll through photos? Like photo library photos?

My iPad keeps flashing Apple logo.. is something wrong?

[edit: Hard reset brought me back to b3, back up and trying again]

Quick beta novice question. I've never stayed on a beta, until a final release.

When 9.1 final is released, is it simple OTA upgrade? Thanks!

I'm on campus and the 1.6GB downloaded in 3 minutes The build number doesn't look like a typical beta number either, FYI
I am also on campus and it takes me less than a minute to download. ;)
But yeah, the size is way larger than usual.

I checked the size then deleted them and reinstalled them. Facebook and Messenger decreased almost by 100 MB

And before anyone says that's cache. I'm not talking about the documents and data. I'm talking about the actual app size

So apple's software team is an amateur chef and apple's hardware team is churning out the best ingredients, but the resulting iPhone is not worthy of even 1 michelin star

got it

Pretty much tbh. Apple has way more wrongs in the software than the hardware department. 3D Touch can be huge, but not like this.

it could be the fact App Thining is finally able to be used by devs since Apple fixed the bug with it. That would be an App Store/Developer thing, not anything to do with the release of beta 4.
