I'm going back and forth with Apple support on chat.. they keep saying backing up and restoring and updating will work. So I'm not doing this. I'll wait for them to officially give a fix. Ridiculous.

I have an iPhone 6s and I'm on 9.3 and I don't seem to have that problem? I use safari and chrome a lot nothing out of the ordinary. Did I get lucky?

Some people have the issue, while others don't. Hard to say what's really responsible for it just yet and what explains how some run into it and others don't.

Apple support is saying delete 9.3 and redownload today's build.... I'm skeptical but I might try this. They say it fixes both the activation issue AND safari....

I had a look in manage storage and cannot find iOS 9.3. Where is it supposed to be ?

I've just upgraded my iPad Air from 9.2.1 (having those link issues) to 9.3 and the issues are still there....

My devices haven't worked in 5 days both iPad and iPhone 6. I think this is bad timing with the holiday. Hopefully we see a fix this week.

Why isn't there a fix out yet? This is one of the most major issues iOS has had since day 1.
Probably because the issue is being investigated and/or the fix is being worked on and/or the fix is being tested and/or etc.

How this company can be so f***ing arrogant and not even post some kind of acknowledgement on their site is astonishing.

How much disregard do these people have for their customers?

Yes, yes I know their technicians are working so desperately hard to fix the problem.

Will somebody wake up their PR department and ask them to do some PR even of it does have the usual Apple spin.

Agreed, with others who have stated this is the biggest bug ever experienced on iOS.

They don't typically do that, it's nothing new or strange really. Perhaps they will do it once they actually know what the issue is and how to address it and have an idea of when they might be able to do it, or perhaps they will just address the issue and comment on it at that time.

Or perhaps they'll remain forever silent.

Well, they'll need to fix the issue somehow, so its resolution will be a statement of sorts, and in a sense even better than one as it would actually address the issue rather than just say something about it (although a statement about it would definitely be appreciated).

I've got the problem and it's a nightmare. I was on phone to Apple support for 90 mins, and I ask everyone who has this problem to do the same, the more we complain, and log this direct with Apple the better.

Coming on forums etc is great for users, but unless Apple know how annoyed and frustrating we all are, they'll ignore and say it's another "isolated" few with the problem.

Please all who haven't already, contact Apple and log the fault. I have and also emailed Tim Cook for what that is worth, but am so annoyed, it is as others have said, the biggest bug in iOS since started in my view.

On a side note, id personally have less of an issue if the phone functionality part of the iphone was broken for a days rather than web browsing lol.
[doublepost=1459206232][/doublepost]So these phones really start to act up a few days ago.

Reports of the FBI finally breaking into an iphone are starting to surface.

Coincidence? I think not!

I follow the instructions but I do not see the iOS 9.3 update as something you can delete in like they say. Did you try this?

A pretty solid technical discussion of the potential problem (citing Ben Collier's story), especially in the comments section.
Definitely. And for those that are suspicious about the whole 9.3 issue, it really isn't.

I got this problem yesterday, I've tried the 'voodoo' fix (see article) five times (no luck) and I did have the booking.com app but I can't remember ever having used it. It could be another or an affiliated app that does the same thing for others.

I was on 9.3 throughout the beta and loaded 9.3 final last Monday. This is not a 9.3 issue.

In virtually every case, we will have to wait for a fix from Apple, unless someone has a way to correct the issue with the swcd daemon/service which is hosed.

You know what they say about correlation and causation.

Did that work for you? I've never installed that app and my ios devices are still broken
Booking.com is definitely not the only app that will trigger the issue. It is however the only app that has been identified (thus far) to consistently trigger the issue.

Wikipedia was another one that has been brought up.
