Umm.. my apologies, but I don’t understand. I believe
@LogicalApex was spot on… there’s a pre-authorization to determine everything is legit. It’s one of those things… where both the recipient and sender covers all bases. Why allocate an item when finance information is sketchy?
I won’t estimate on how many Apple is manufacturing, but I would say it’s a lot… with some orders pushed a month back, they want to make orders are allocated accordingly. And then… by the recipient checking to see if the charge went through… it would establish everything is good on their end.
If I’m not mistaken if the funds are not there… they will contact you. But at least your item has been allocated by the pre-authorization charge.
