Junecloud Delivery Status. However, this is a paid app and I'm sure there are free ones. I didn't put that much thought into it.

What makes you think you're not getting it Saturday?

The part where it states "THE SERVICE SELECTED IS NOT AVAILABLE TO THE DESTINATION ADDRESS / DOWNGRADED, FORWARDED TO CONSIGNEE, SELECTED SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE" on his tracking info. According to what has been reported, this means that Saturday delivery is not available in this poster's area.

Typically I wouldn't care, but I am kind of freaking out right now. No charge to my card and no shipping details or status change from prepared.... UGH

has anyone found out if they do not deliver to your area if you can drive to the local UPS distribution point and pick it up? I know for me it is pretty close to where I live.

my guess is that if they don't deliver on saturdays that the whole place is probably closed for getting packages

I'm beginning to worry that my iPad has decided to overnight in Anchorage.

Why didn't he board UPS109?? :(

Mine is still chilling in Shenzhen, yo.

(Heh. The people without tracking #s are jealous of the people with tracking errors. Those people are jealous of the people in Shenzhen. Those people are jealous of the people in AK. Those people are jealous of the people in KY. We're impressively stratified at this point, if nothing else.)

If you go to UPS website, and search by your zip, you can find Service Center results that list store hours. The closest to me is 40 miles away, and are closed on Saturdays. Looks like a vacation day for me on Monday. Hey, get a 4 day weekend, and won't complain about that

'cept no one is in KY yet. Just a shipping note there. People who have their iPads in AK also show (should be 2) notes from KY.

I agree with you - no one is in KY yet. But, I have no notes from KY.

Three of us in the same boat. Makes me wonder how many iPads per plane.

Well, Apple may even have reserved space on an entire, or most of those planes.

Realize two service flights are being used: VHHH (Hong Kong or "Shenzhen" on tracking) and Guanghzhou (or whatever it is called lol).

So, with this in mind (and the carrying capacity of a 747, plus the fact of how many ipods per container), I think they are sending out PLENTY!

And ON TOP of that, and what people with the "Prepared for Shipment" status need to realize is that Apple needs ITS OWN iPads too for retail, and they arent liable to ship them way before the pre-orders. Realize what UPS Reps and their online site is saying too, depending on the method, shipments from Hong Kong shipping today (earlier) would have made it to most homes by Thursday. So maybe these shipments are for Apple stores, and ours are held...

EITHER WAY: Apple has their own, and I think they are staggering the deliveries, or combining certain customers orders with shipments to retail stores. And also remember, just because your order number or time is less than someone else, your CREDIT CARD may not have cleared confirmation as fast as someone with a greater time...

Just some food for thought. I am excited though, and not worried. Apple and UPS don't screw around. I prefer FedEx for International, but thats a personal preference :)

Based off of past experience you cannot pickup something from UPS until there has been atleast 1 delivery attempt.

Also realize, the shipper has to AUTHORIZE an at-depot pickup. If the shipper doesn't release it, then UPS will deny you and attempt delivery to the address on the label.
