I just got that too. UPS is just toying with us now. :p

Yup :D So long as your area has Sat. Del. for international shipments and you didnt get an email from Apple saying you get it Mon.

Wow, well then I guess the flightplan info on flightaware was wrong - UPS21 DOES stop in INC before continuing to PANC Anchorage.

Muhr I apologize, I just never thought they would think about putting them on a hopper and air transit connect flight... so yea, UPS61 stopped in KR.

That air transit scan just means the plane landed and has your package on it, but the package was never removed from the aircraft for sorting or anything.

EDIT: It is UPS61... 21 is still enroute from Guangzhou... if anyone has that departure scan later than these....

UPS61 is the one that stopped in Korea? If so, that flight just left Alaska. Also, if so, now I feel better and don't have to worry about my iPad taking a sight seeing trip to South Korea. :p

Haha no - that UPS61 flight actually does stop in Seoul / Incheon. It just didn't reflect in the flightplan I saw, but Muhr's research in the Hong Kong airport sight did reflect it - I just thought UPS would never send them on that flight but they did xD

And like I said before - your package never even left that plane - the scanned the manifest, and marked those shipments that were coming off. They will load on new shipments coming from S. Korea, and then take off again to continue on to PANC with your iPads never leaving the safety of the aircraft - thus the "Air Transit" scan - your package is in transit (with an update) via an air delivery method :)

Are you sure it is UPS61? I show that one on it's way from Anchorage to California...

Mine did that too, even after it saying that my billing info came on the 31st, it updated - then it changed after this evening saying my iPad was enroute to Guangzhou, it changed from then to April 1st @ 8:09 PM or something.

It may be an error, but also a sign that your package is being prepped for further status update and movement :)

I got my email from apple two days ago, since then I am keep checking my tracking number.

The weird thing is that it keeps updating "Shipped/Billed On" date.

It two days ago it was showing "Shipped/Billed On:03/30/2010"

Yesterday it was "Shipped/Billed On:03/31/2010"

Today it is "Shipped/Billed On:04/01/2010"
:confused::confused::confused: :rolleyes:

Same thing is happening to me, I want to know what is going on. And don't tell me to check iship.com again. They don't tell me anything I don't already know. If I don't get it Saturday and I know I get international Saturday deliveries in my town then I am royally pissed off at UPS and Apple for dropping the ball. How long does it take to go from a factory in China to an airport in China. Surely it can't take 4 or 5 days? I've been having the same amount of information since Monday.

Positive. The Hong Kong Intl site shows a UPS61 from VHHH Hong kong to Seoul/Incheon (departing right around the same time as those "departed from Guangzhou" scans), with continuing service to PANC and to KSDF Louisville.

That UPS21 may be applicable for some people whose packages may have gotten scattered there too, but I think UPS61 won't update on flightaware until after they open the flight plan from Seoul to PANC (which I am about to check right now...)

Hey man. (This isn't a hate message lol).

So even if four or five people actually "benefit" from my posts, thats okay. It is all in knowing that I had fun posting and collaborating, as well as knowing that I may have helped someone who had a question and didnt know half of this stuff that we (I having no time in the past few days for nothing else) have found out.

I'm one that has benefited from your information, thanks TechDude16. From reading most of the post here, it seems a lot more than four or five others have benefited from your info. too.

Thanks again.

Hey realize this - Apple still have about 10-11 hours to give that package to UPS before that flight goes out at 7 AM EST from Guangzhou and the 7 AM from VHHH Hong Kong.

Also realize that their shipping status is screwed -- my billing info dates changed like 5 times, and it took me three days before I got any update (which was tonight).

Also realize that your status may not update until it reaches the US, because sometimes that happens.

Try tracking by reference number (the web order number or your telephone number) and see if more than one package shows up. One may have more info than the other...

But I think you will get it on time. And I won't ask you to check iship.com again - I know you already did, I usually only tell people that when they have more on their status.

Good luck though :D

Just talked to Apple, they told me that everything is fine. UPS however told me that some orders had some "problems" and may not arrive until later next week.I hope the UPS lady was wrong and was just trying to get all of us off the phones as fast as possible

I think its the latter, if anything at all...

Either our iPads are on the same (lost) pallet or they fell off and are drinking in some corner together...

I am in the same boat. :(

Billing info received-- nothing more.

Mine was originally Billing Info Received effective 03/31/2010 and now it shows as Billing Info Received 04/01/2010.

Sad

:(

Yea, UPS 43 was scheduled to leave at 9:21 Eastern, but Incheon airport does not give departure data for cargo flights, so we are SOL until flightstats/flightaware get data

Flightstats UPS 43
