Seems that my iPad went from China directly to KY and is now on the way to Brooklyn.

Woot!

My iPad has been sitting in Kentucky for almost two days. I know I should be content with that, but I'm getting bored. I need something to stress over. You guys are having all the fun.

Woot!

I think the reason it shows like that is because UPS must have generated it a new shipping label, because it wouldn't show "shipped from Louisville" unless that happened, or some other error occured (one more to add to the list).

As well, that map is no accurate to what the package is actually doing - it is just drawing a line saying where it is eventually going.

It is your status that is important to know what is currently happening, not packagetrackr.com's map...

Try boxoh.com's map. Theres is good too :D

hehehe :) Mine is: 4/2/2010 4:24:00 AM IN TRANSIT TO GUANGZHOU, CN
4/2/2010 4:23:00 AM DEPARTURE SCAN CHEK LAP KOK, HK

I suspect were going to see Kentucky as the origin for all of those who currently have the generic 'billing info received' but no location data. Over the next 24 hours they will all suddenly appear as the scans go from bulk to individual.

How is it possible

I'm in Austin, TX.

Oh, haha nvm then.

And yea Muhr, it is possible... I have heard of them recreating shipments, or shipments showing up like that when they have been unupdated or updated incorrectly.

That happens sometimes with certain SmartPost shipments (and not the whole change of hands = change of carriers and tracking #s thing).

But yea I think that might be something similar to what happened when the iPod touches went out...

Mine is Austin bound too, you just pass Incheon?

Edit: Nevermind, I read more... looks like end location isn't factoring into the shipments

Add me to the list of those who stopped in Korea.

3/29/2010 1:00:00 AM UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY / UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY LOUISVILLE, KY US

Well I'm just so glad that I woke up early on pre-order day and everyone that ordered days and weeks later is enjoying the process of watching their iPads shipped when I am sitting here refreshing every 30 minutes of the past 3 days just to see "Billing info received" stressing out hoping to God it gets here on Saturday... How depressing. I'm seriously killing myself over this... I'm so stressed/pissed.

It's a support group/"I'm glad I'm not the only one this is happening to" thread.

I did look at that thing posted earlier about the UPS shipping numbers... I had heard about it before but I forgot which numbers changed and how.

I looked into it a little saw that they are going by Apple Web Order numbers... each subsequent Shipping # has the next web order number, chronologically....

I didnt steal info or anything, not that you can do that, but it makes sense... at least to some degree. And those Tracking Numbers nearest mine all shared the same tracking status of Enroute to Guangzhou....

I would be very surprised if yours didn't suddenly appear in Kentucky, or your local UPS location in the next 24 hours. I would not be concerned

It's not necessarily the fact (well it sort of is) that I'm worried that it won't get here Sat (IT BETTER ) but it's just that I ordered so early yet I see no "results" or changes and when you go to that tracking page and see the same damn thing over and over when "everyone" else is see theirs, it just sucks.
