Finally picked up a cheap BT mouse to try this out, since my MM2 or Magic Trackpad aren’t working with this. So far I love it. I do wish I could invert the scrolling and change scroll speeds, but outside of that it is really great. It plus using a PS4 controller for games, really makes this feel like a great portable game/work system now.
Please submit feedback to Apple on this. I submitted feedback on the lack of reverse scrolling already, because I find "natural" scrolling very unnatural.

So what mouse are people using for this? Apple one work ok?
I am using a Microsoft Surface Arc mouse, solely for it's flatness and easy of transport. Ideally a Logitech MX Master mouse works better as it can be paired with 3 seperate devices and you can customize the button functions in iPadOS.

Mouse wheel only works in Settings App, but not in Safari or Chrome, am I right?
I love iPad, but hate most the finger scrolling for web pages, if mouse wheel works, wow...

I am using Logi mouse too, no wheel scrolling in Safari. Maybe there is some setting required

I don’t recall enabling any setting for scrolling. I do know when the first beta came out I tried a different mouse and scrolling did not work. Which Logitech mouse do you have?

anything new in ipad os beta 4 in terms of the mouse?

last time they made an option for a smaller curser.

I went back to ios12 because some of my important apps were crashing too frequently. Any info would be appreciated.

I was wondering the same thing, specifically whether anyone is successfully able to connect a Magic Mouse 2 or a Magic Trackpad 2 wirelessly.

There is a Long press option for assign to a mouse button, but it’s not working for me. Anyone else?

I love it, but wish I could just pair via bluetooth. I had to buy a cheap usb c mouse with a adapter (or whatever you call it). Has anyone gotten it working just strictly with bluetooth? If so, which mouse? Love the feature though and made working with certain apps so much easier.

Yes, i got it to work purely via bluetooth using a) Magic Mouse 1 and b) a cheap mouse bought on amazon called "victsing wireless mouse"
