Other iPhone 11, Pro, Pro Max (2019) Best Buy US Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status Thread

I just ordered a 256GB Pro for in-store pickup tomorrow even though I also pre-ordered on Apple's website for estimated delivery on the 27th. It'll be nice if I get the pickup email from BB tomorrow but if not, that's okay because I'll still have my other order with Apple to fall back on.

Just got a call from Best Buy asking that I setup an appointment for sometime tomorrow to pickup the phone. Ordered sometime during the afternoon of the 17th. Appointment is for 11:20, might go try to get it earlier if its not mass chaos.

Update: my iPhone 11 Pro Max was now picked up by FedEx, and is still showing delivery date of tomorrow. I feel great about that one, but the iPhone 11 Pro I ordered first has not shipped, no tracking info, nothing.

Online, my order still says “pre-ordered”.

I just called the 888 number and it says there are two parts to my order: the phone and the plan (although I did not change my plan).

Part 1 (iPhone) says, “on its way”.
Part 2 (plan) say, “ready for pickup”.

Mine is the exact opposite! It says my iPhone is ready for pickup, and my plan is on its way 😬

I went by the store tonight and talked to them in the mobile dept. My order still just says preordered and the 256 Pro MG is now out of stock for store pickup at that location. He said they had already pulled all the store pickup from stock and if I didn’t get a notification then they didn’t have stock to fulfill it, but they would be getting more stock delivered in the future. I may have to drive around a bit and grab one from somewhere else if I can find it. Good job Bestbuy. Maybe they will surprise me and it will come through. Doubt it.

What does it say when you call 1-888-bestbuy?
When did you place your order?

I just called the store to see if they are opening early. I didn’t wait to speak with anyone, but pre-recorded message says their usual time (10am). I’m surprised they’re not opening earlier. Maybe I’ll call later this evening to check.

I don’t want to pester them about my order, but it better be there. :rolleyes:

I actually went into the store to place my pre-order because I wanted to use :apple: Pay for payment, and although the Best Buy app accepts :apple: Pay, for the iPhone pre-orders, it did not.

By this point (5:30pm day before launch), I would have expected some sort of email communication about my order. Some update. But nothing. Fingers crossed.

WTF? Seriously? We have to deal with them not being able to fulfill pre-orders? Then what was the point?

I better call my store now. Or better yet, I’ll go over there after dinner.

If they don’t have it, I’ll cancel, and wait in line at Apple tonight.
 
Ordered on the 13th and mine still says "preparing" with a delivery date for tomorrow...
 
bestbuy system suck -

status one way and delivery diff way

bb sale computer laptop eletronic but they dont even work right on there system like apple does , that why apple take over
