Ok heres how you fix your voice mail-
1. Connect the phone to itunes and option click restore
2. Navigate to your user name->Library->iTunes->iPhone Carrier Support
3. Select the file contained within "iPhone Carrier Support" and proceed
You now have your voicemail working again

you are done, restart and enjoy tethering and looking at a nonfunctional MMS app... lol!

Has anyone have problems with receiving calls using the method I used back on page 10?

I fixed the visual voice mail thing, but it seems like the iPhone is picky on which calls it chooses to receive. And I was stupid enough to let it backup with this setting so a restore from backup didn't work. I really don't want to do it as a new phone as I have texts I do not want to lose......

EDIT: Reinstalling the IPCC file that the above poster recommended seemed to have fixed my problem.

ok so just saw this at benm.at

"There are some problems with AT&T. Based on technical problems in the AT&T network (official no MMS Support yet) there can be no MMS Settings shown up in the iPhone Settings.

Im getting dozens of Feedback mails every minute. Ever mail will be read! More providers coming soon!"

maybe he's working on something... one can only hope!

Hey guys I just tried the method that's on the first page of the thread and it worked for me.

This is completely free right now right?

does anyone know how to make this work on windows??/

when I try to open the file it simply brigs up the option to search for a program to open....
HELP!!!

I'm fooling around with it on windows, don't feel like getting the hackentosh up and running.

As far as MMS is going for everyone the only one's who I have seen that have it working DO NOT have an MMS Opt out code on their AT&T bills. This code should block any attempt to send or receive MMS messages. I awould assume that this is how they know to redirect these messages to the view my messages website.

What file are you trying to open? The IPCC one? Not sure if that will work for windows. In windows you can select a file if you SHIFT click restore, but it ask for a IPSW file.

It's not. To enable tethering you just have to follow the first post in this thread. That doesn't not give you MMS tho. That's the thing most people in this thread are looking for.

The first post in the thread now points to an invalid mobileconfig file unless he's fixed it since this afternoon. I had posted a fixed version since it was unavailable as of an hour ago.

In response to my problem, it appears that the network diagnostic tool is failing under the "ISP" section. By all accounts, it seems as though I should be able to browse the Internet on my computer, but for some reason, it isn't working.

Frustrating. Maybe it's something on AT&T's side?
