THANK YOU kind sir. I had this issue and was pulling my hair out over it, trying everything I could think of. But... I didn't think of that.I had the same problem. I was still running iTunes 8.2 beta. After upgrading I was able to restore to 3.0.
I'm glad they added this, but what does Save do and what does Save a Copy do? Let's say I press Save, what does it Save? And is my original untouched? And let's say I press Save A Copy, will it save a copy of my Trimmed video or the original?
Confusing to me....

My 3G is slower, battery life has decreased significantly, and the 3G connection still SUCKS! My phone switches to edge so much that I just turned 3G off. The iphone is not 3G, that is false!
Save replaces the original with the edit. Save-As saves a new file and keeps the original
Actually, that's a little uncharacteristic for apple - I'd expect the buttons to be labelled more explicitly. Computer newbs aren't going to get it.
So what's the word? Do I need to have my UDID linked to a developer account or no?

I had to provision my iPhone 3GS before it could be activated. I totally forgot to do this first but all is well now.
Can anyone confirm if the latest iTunes version is 8.2(23)?
Deciding whether I should install it right away or not. 3.0 is so bug free for an x.0 release.
Maybe I'll install it on my iPod touch first.

Why? Where does it appear?
You mean "Save a Copy". You see, "Save As" makes more sense. Or "Save Trimmed Video". And when you press "Save", it should alert you "Are you sure you want to replace the original?"
What do you think?
are you kidding??? thats pretty basic stuff. How long have you been using a computer?
