Seriously, I love the opportunity to have two internet pages open at the same time. Whenever there's a football game on for example, I always like to read the forums on fansites from each team as the game is going on. Pretty awesome to not have to constantly be switching back and forth to keep up with the reactions.

I honestly don't know why real multitasking isn't a thing on iOS yet as it could be a way more useful feature for productivity compared to everything else they've added. Why have a beast of a CPU in multitasking, and not actually let it multitask?
Yes iPhones definitely have the horse power to do it. Apple just won't write it into the code.

No way. My iPhone 7 got slower WIFI speeds compared to my Note 8. Also slower Cellular speeds.

Yeah but the Note 8 still has that crap where it hangs onto your wifi signal too long. I complained about this on the Note 5 and the Note 7. When I leave my house the Note 8 keeps looking for my wifi, so stuff like Waze won't work until I'm a mile or 2 from home.

Hmm, haven't noticed. I'll try to pay attention to that. I have EERO all over my house so my signal stretches pretty far.

Have they tested the Note 8 or V30 yet? Probably not.

I think as long as you order within first 3-5 mins you should be ok..i think stock will be not much different to last year

It’s going to be a lot different from last year. Available stock of the X will be so limited, the AirPods will feel abundant comparatively. I’ll wager that the orders placed within the first minute may get first day delivery but after that, delivery times will move back in a hurry and any orders not placed within that first 15-30 minutes may be pushed back months.

I like blind tests, no exif data just a visual comparison.
You get many people voting on which they think looks best.
No confirmation bias involved, just personal choice.

Apprently only because DXO introduced bokeh categories this year. If you remove that, it falls behind last year’s Pixel.
If they had the category last year maybe the 7 plus would have fared better.

How do you know what modem is in your iPhone 8? Have you opened it up to see?

I'm sure we'd get Intel over in Europe though.

What will be interesting will be the carriers here in UK and how much stock they will have. Was going with EE and plan to order online as soon as 8am hits but also do the same on apple site. Have to hope I can one of them with a decent time.

I do worry the carriers will get left behind

The carriers will get left behind I think, especially with such limited supply. Last year the 7 plus launch was notoriously bad.

The year of the 6 plus launch it took me until the end of November to get a 6 plus and even then I had to settle for space grey and not gold.

I think the wide availability of the 8/8 plus shows that many are waiting for the iPhone X.

Was planning on ordering with EE but if the watch launch is anything to go by it could be trouble.

Have to hope they get enough in but this is why i'm going to try and order via IUP as well.

The best bet is to go through Apple. They will have the most stock.

I just took a look at the couple of the renders on the iPhone X. Don't you think it's going to end up being a little smaller for us Plus users?
