I think there will be one more 6 next year... the 6SSSS or better known as the iPhone 9.

Apple will continue to rehash that old design again and again till they are able to get their OLEd iPhone yields on track. In the era of 2017 smartphone design, those big bezels are a travesty. The Galaxy S8 fits a much larger screen in the same footprint as the 7.

Apple will confirm the old design of the iPhone 6 for many, many years IMHO. Otherwise it makes no sense to sell the X for 1140+€ if Apple would produce a Phone with another, better design such as one with more edge-to-edge screen. That's because I hate them and I would change to S8...

Hehe, except for when you need to get stuff done and switch back to the other app to copy some text or images but you have to reload the page, but the text is 2bparagraphs down, "damn it loaded fast, but now I have to find that text again, I wish I had had of ram too..."
But you know, games and video editing will be much faster right? ;)

hopefully the 6gb ram solves that, time will tell though, its never worked before.

Those are basically indoor speeds for T-mobile. I get 100+ outdoors and around 50-60+ indoors.

Don't get in the way of a good story though :)

I guess there are not many Porsche 311/911 fans here. Because that design really has not changed too much.

iPhone will probably retain the same design for the Plus model and shrink the bezels and have it with Touch ID built into the display and FACE ID too at a higher price point.

While dropping the 4.7 model completely and having iPhone X with Face ID only at the 4.7 price point once they can get enough OLED displays crafted.

I think they will go down that path until we get foldable devices or some other unforeseen shift in mobile handset design trends.

Like it or not tall phones are the future. Even the iPhone X is a 5.8 phone with a width of the 7. The iPhone X Plus will be 6.3 with a width of the 7.

OT- I have read certain reviews which state the iris scanner and the facial recognition on the Note 8 isn’t that reliable. I really hope FaveID on the IPhone X works better.

"The conclusion? The A11 Bionic is miles ahead of what Android devices can do. It’s not even a contest anymore, and it looks like Qualcomm, Samsung, and Google are going to have a tough time matching the iPhone 8 and iPhone X speed."

Can't be any worse than what Samsung has been serving up since the S6.
Sorry man, real life usage it seems the 8 isn't much faster than the 7 and my 7 was and feels slower on everything compared to my note 8.

I see you are comparing to a 7 in your note 8 v IP8 thread, makes sense now, come back when you get a IP8.

You mean slow where you live
What?? Did you not watch the video proof? Both same provider, same server, same location, side by side, the iPhone was half as slow as the Samsung. Apple used slower chips again in the 8 for the LTE speeds. That is proof right there. But here comes zipster3 wasting our time.

And if you been reading everything about the 8 it's not hardly any faster than the 7. I won't buy a useless phone that can't do half the things my note 8 can do.

Uhh you mean you won't. Stop wasting peoples time in here if you aren't going to keep on topic.

You started the thread, topic is note 8 or IP8 you remember? now you have a note 8 all you want to do is bag the IP8 to justify your decision, and get all upset if everyone else doesn't agree with you.

Last I checked we were till you came in. And it's called comparing both devices. Sorry if you don't like us posting the facts.

Yes I have some music videos that I've bought from iTunes over the years. Anyhow these videos have now become corrupted and some of them are missing or are displaying incorrect information. I cannot re download them from icloud. When I say corrupted this from the source and is Apple's fault.

Anyhow luckily since Google photos is a rubbish bin it had uploaded all of these videos over the years without me having to do anything, without me being consciously aware. I've been able to re-"download these videos directly onto my phone and then organise them into files.

Dude, they both ran side by side. It's slower period. If you listen the iPhone has less antennas. The iPhone was half the speed of the other.

Relax, LOL....... I wasn't disputing anything. I was just saying the speed on the Note 8 is basically indoor speeds(T-mobile), as I get twice the speed outside.
[doublepost=1506256096][/doublepost]This is because the iPhone percentage is falsely manipulated. Notice how iOS devices can be on 100%, 99% or 98% for the longest while using without charging. But once it hits in the upper 80% range, you notice the percentage drops much quicker. The iPhone technically never had the lead in this charging test.
