You already own all the movies that are most difficult to get, I'm pretty jealous. Beauty and the Beast is coming out this year but I'm gonna have to wait 5 years to pick up Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, and Peter Pan. Everything else that is "code-able" I pretty much own except Cinderella and some XML movies that are not yet affected by the new DC+ rules.

Yeah, Lady and the Tramp is mad expensive!! I'm jealous of his vaulted titles as well.

Up to 106 DMA. I have almost everything that has a code....missing some titles that I don't care too much about (Super Buddies, etc) I might order John Carter from the DMR site to get that code and sell the XML while it still works ;)

Have to again say thanks to @ECJ for starting this thread last year. I'm up to 650 total movies and loving it!

Nice collection! Noticed you bought a lot of non-code movies like Mulan and Miracle. Part of the fun is waiting for movies to get codes (though I made an exception for Star Wars and the Vudu Pixar sale a few days ago).

Looking at your list I also realized I'm missing a few more. I've now added Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Winnie the Pooh to my list. Besides Marvel and Pixar, I'm mostly interested in collecting the Disney Animated Classics (only the good ones though).

Nice collection. I myself want to get all the Disney princess movies for my daughter and I'm on the hunt for Alice in wonderland

Yeah once I started I just didn't stop. Got some iTunes money and bought a bunch.

Wish Vudu credits were still available as that's a better discount.

Jeesh, I'm still missing a few Disney titles.

Alice in Wonderland (1951)
Bambi (1942) - In The Vault
Dumbo (1941)
Fantasia (1940) - In The Vault

Thanks for the link. I only see two options $20 for $10 or $10 for $5. How do you access the $60 for $30 option?

You can redeem two of each per account. I bought $20x2 and $10x2 for a total of $60 credits.

When you redeem, can you write down the prefixes? I forgot which is the $20 and which is the $10.

VGNT are the $10
VGNW are the $20

Someone mentioned it was a 2 per account limit in Vudu.

...and we rarely watch these. But they're classics with sentimental value and lots of memories. I think I've bought most of these many times over, including most on VHS, some on laserdisc, most on DVD, and now Bluray/with digital code.
Crazy how Disney sucks us in

I guess the only good thing about the new Disney one-redeem policy: XML codes now have iTunes extras. My iron man 1 movie never had it when I originally redeemed it. Now it does.

interesting. My Iron Man 2 and Thor still don't. I assumed it was because they were not Disney on initial release.

so, you redeemed IM1 a while back and it now has it or you redeemed another copy? I thought some of the new Marvel Phase Packs had digital copies but not sure which one did.

I have the original IM1xml SD code. Originally Disney upgraded it to HD with no iTunes extras. Now all the extras are there. Is your iTunes account linked to DMA?

Yes. I actually don't have Iron Man...I have IM2 and Thor.

Both include iTunes extras when bought on iTunes but MY copies (XML) didn't have them...still don't I have it in HD.
and yes iTunes is connected with DMA.

bummer.

Lemme get this straight.... You had SD XML copies redeemed. Then you bought HD versions directly from iTunes?

That's probably why the XML versions are still SD. When I redeemed my XML of IM1 it was automatically upgraded to HD.

After not seeing iTunes extra, I contacted Apple regarding it. After looking at the code they said it is an SD code. After emailing them a screen shot of the movie to prove it was indeed HD. They were baffled.

I redeemed Avengers 1 XML the other day and it too redeems as HD with extras.

Are you guys saying there is a CODE for iron man 1? I was under the assumption that there was no code for it.

no. I redeemed IronMan2 and Thor via XML. (IM2 was SD until the DMA upgrade to HD) Thor went straight to HD since it was after I had connected with DMA. Both titles were not created by Disney (both Paramount releases)...but now that Disney owns the Rights to Marvel, they are part of DMA and upgrade to HD...but NOT with iTunes Extras (at least not mine). if you buy these titles straight from iTunes, then you can get iTunes Extras because these versions are being released by Marvel/Walt Disney...aka Disney.

so, are you saying I could contact Apple and ask why my HD copies do NOT include iTunes Extras and they might convert them to the newer versions WITH iTunes Extras?? that would be cool.

I've tried doing that with The Dark Knight and they couldn't do anything for me. Basically the version I bought many years ago is a slightly different version than what is sold in iTunes today. So I can download and watch my version, but if I look up the movie in iTunes, it has a price tag instead of an iCloud download link.

that's what i figured but wondering how some are getting iTunes Extras now.

I know iTunes/the Studios do this sometimes where they don't simply update the one but make a new catalog number all-together

Ended up getting Winnie the Pooh, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, and Bolt. I am now caught up on all the newest and best Disney animated classics. I can live without Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp for now (don't mind getting these when they get outta the Vault), but not having Lion King is really driving me nuts.
