I bought some iTunes codes from a UK site, turns out they're US only codes and I CBA with two accounts, so they're yours for FREE if anyone wants them

Wow very nice code drop there.

Is there an approved area here I can sell my codes? I have some Peanuts Movie, but I want to do it right.

What was the going rate for Lion King when this thread first started? Was it always in the $28 to $32 range or was it ever around $20? Really debating whether to splurge for this or not.

I don't know for how long the movie has been "out of print" or anything else, but I remember when I first started looking at the Google community, I was seeing The Lion King for roughly that much. The price I usually see is ~$35. But I'm also not keeping an active eye on it and this is only going back like four or five months.

I thought The Lion King was coming back OUT of the Vault in the Fall?
and I thought it was $25-35 range when I first started looking.

and I have seen it in the $40-55 range at times from some folks on various sites.

Beauty and the Beast is supposed to come out of the vault this fall.

A seller on eBay (high feedback) is selling brand new Peter Pan Diamonds for $39.99.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/252302065877

You can redeem the XML yourself, sell the DMA for $20, re-sell the Blu-ray for $20 (minus eBay fees and shipping), and net yourself a digital copy for a few bucks.

I really need to unfollow this thread, it makes me feel nothing but sadness :( iTunes just isn't a supported platform for digital codes in the UK, or certainly not on any decent level - I think the Inception BR was the last movie I had an iTunes code with, and that wasn't even HD!

Best thing I did was set up a US account.

And with the ability to change regions on the ATV4, you can get the apps from one country and then change back over if need be.

So I've got all the UK apps, but I have my US account as the main one so I can view my films/tv shows.

Same here! I have the best of both worlds with my US and UK accounts. I've bought well over 200 US iTunes movies with codes since The ATV4 launched. Most between $2-$4 - some for less.

I've toyed with it many times, I guess I'm just too lazy :) I assume when you switch accounts, your movies disappear but the apps remain as they're installed locally?

In fact, don't worry - I'll never get around to doing it - I'm happy using infuse to view my collection :)

so...BN's Nook Video will cease to exist soon.
they will port over your Disney movies to DMA.

They have:
Lion King 1.5 - $20
Mulan - $15
Meet the Robinsons - $15

and you can use a code to get 15% off (once per purchase :()

anyone need those movies

*sorry if this has been said already i didn't look too hard back

Do you have a direct link for lion king? I'm having trouble finding it on the site

It's gone. They removed the ability to purchase it yesterday. I believe they removed all Nook Video items.

oh wow!!

I finally got my discount BN Gift Cards yesterday and was able to purchase this. I am glad I did then. I can't find it anymore. I wonder if Disney told them to get rid of it. Others still look available to buy.

You know you're addicted to codes when you're trying to get movies that you have absolutely ZERO interest in (Danish Girl and Trumbo).

haha, there are times I do stop and think, just because you've seen lots of people want it, you don't need it.

I do want to see Trumbo though. I missed getting the novel when it was 1/3 price on iBooks.
CheapCharts iOS App is nice to have.
