Thankfully there is some downtime for good releases this month. The Revenant seems to be the only good release for April all the way until Deadpool in May. Will finally give my wallet a break.

looking for almost all disney classics on DMA or iTunes.
anyone has any? will do pp f&f

DisneyNature movies on sale this week...$13-15 looks like Monkey Kingdom is NOT on sale though.

Monkey Kingdom and Bears are really good and both of these have Digital Copies available.

Found this thread last night and I'm loving it! Bought 5 movies already for less than 15$, which totally blows my mind. One of them was even Force Awakens!

I read through the past few months of this thread and I am just wondering how the Disney codes work now. From what I read the code is single use now, so I don't have to worry about the seller selling it again for another ecosystem (I redeemed in iTunes)? Is that right? I love what great deals these codes are, but I'm worried about the legal implications or a studio getting Apple to remove all my downloads, etc. Are all the studios essentially single use now? I'm in Canada if that's relevant, so DMA doesn't exist.

Thanks guys! This thread is great!

I think studios are more worried about pirating websites than digital codes being sold by owners of the DVD/Bluray they came from. Not all studios have single redeem like Disney. Disney's codes work with UV (Vudu) Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Apple with redeeming the code once in one place. All these lockers have different DRMs.

Other studios just deal with UV only. Give you one code to redeem for ITunes and UV. Or gives you a choice of iTunes or UV (Fox)

Someone can have this if they like. It won't work in the Canadian store for me.

Please help I'm confused. I have a code for the Force Awakens. Where and how do I redeem it? Do I use DMA or Vudu? I don't have an acct with either. I have a Roku and prob going to get an appleTV at some point. So I'm looking to use both platforms as well as purchase Disney movie codes online. Thanks for the help

With Disney codes you can redeem directly on DMA site. Once it's in your DMA account, any other account like Vudu, Amazon or iTunes can then be linked to your DMA account. Once linked, all your DMA movies will show in all linked accounts.

June is going to be expensive. Star Trek 4K, Independence Day 4K, and The Martian extended version 4K. Gonna need the summer off.

Disney's implementation is how digital copy management should be. Everywhere.

Sad day to be a new code member. Flixster dual redeems no longer work. With Disney having single redeem codes and now WB/Lionsgate, new movies will get a little more expensive. God forbid Universal and Paramount take the Fox route...

Sad day indeed. Hopefully people won't raise prices too much. So glad I got into this when I did back when @ECJ started the thread. Was able to get all the Disney codes cheap, and a bunch of Flixster cheap. I'm just finishing up my DC animated collection, which I bunch of those I got good Flixster deals on (a lot of those are $19.99 normally). Between that and Free2D I've gotten great deals.

Weren't you iTunes only?

Still am - just don't use my Apple TV that much anymore. My 4K Fire TV is what we use mainly now.

I know that there are many on here that have Vudu/UV accounts that would love a Vudu app on their Apple TV's. Add in that the App on the Shield TV will be able to deliver UHD/4K, this could be a big swing for those wanting an all in one solution.

Haha, come on, none of these companies are going to play with Apple now. Saddest thing is that my Apple TV is my least used piece of Tech in my house now.

Because Apple will not allow people to 'purchase/rent' videos from their apps. So if VUDU/AMAZON made an app it would be to view only.

Same as it is on the iOS apps (at least for VUDU).

They would allow it, just that Apple want 30% of any purchase made. That's why they haven't made apps.

I think most people wouldn't have a problem with the app being view only if it meant they could view their VUDU content on their Apple TV's.

In fact, this makes purchasing films on Google Play more appealing now tbh.
