I absolutely did not get the yellowish screen with my 7, and in fact put it up next to my 6s and they were virtually identical, even in brightness. So that 25% thing, dunno what happened to that.

If you had an iPhone 6S before, then that makes sense. Don't upgrade iPhone every year. Every two years is golden.

As for the yellow screen issue... my iPhone 7 Plus is more yellow than my 6, but you know what? My 6 was also a launch day phone. So you can't really link it to the manufacturing process.

Same. I'm probably just gonna live with it honestly. Noticeable side by side but everyday use it will just be "normal"

Have y'all checked out display mate's assessment of the iPhone 7's display? When I used an S7 Edge in basic mode (sRGB), the display appeared yellow compared to my 6s. A couple of glances back and forth and I realized the S7 Edge was displaying white and mine was blue! Same thing I noticed with the 7's display. I much prefer the more natural white look.

If the yellow display is more accurate than so be it. BUT what about the brightness? I have yet to see any iPhone 7/Plus on display at Apple stores, carriers and Best Buy at least matching the 6s/Plus for brightness.

That means a hit on the battery cause I have to raise the brightness, how much is not realized yet obviously but how many concessions are you folks gonna make if that is the case?

Oh, display mate said 600 nits which isn't far off 580 from the 6s/6s Plus. Now, in order to see the 25% difference, auto brightness must be enabled and held under high ambient light (sun.) They tested 705 nits on the iPhone 7's display in direct light. Impressive!

I am not talking about 25% more at this point. I can put the ip7 next to a 6s both at 50% and the difference is so easy to see. It literally is a night (dark) to day (light) difference. :)

Swap it out. you may get one of the non yellow panels at the same time. Many reports of people getting panels with temps that match the 6S, AND have the rumored brightness improvements.

I will more closer to the 14 day return period. I am not comfortable doing it now evidenced by me not seeing any better ones on display at places I checked out.

And I am sure sooner or later I would get flagged for multiple returns, it may come to that.

Yeah I live in SoCal so most days I dont either. But if I visit a colder climate or go snowboarding or any other use case where hands are covered then itd be nice to have the home button still work.

But what are you accomplishing by being able to click the home button with gloves on? You still can't unlock the phone with gloves on. If you wanna just check the time/notifications, you can press the lock button with gloves on

I work for a major wireless carrier and I am still selling a decent amount of 6s, especially during the iPhone launch.

Don't get me wrong, I've sold a lot of the iPhone 7 and Plus models but I've also sold a decent amount of the 6s devices this past weekend.

I think if the 7 series had wireless charging that'd be enough for me to make the jump from my 6 Plus.

How have they been coming in? Daily? What are the chances i could walk into a phone store and a 7Plus would have been delivered?

Coming from a 6+, the 7+ is a ****ing DREAM.

- Camera is incredible. The low light quality is just insane, and even well-lit shots are noticeably crisper. Plus, the front cam is way improved.
- Home button was love at first press. It's SO quick, where as my 6 sometimes took a few seconds to unlock. Plus, the way it feels is just so SLICK.
- Headphone jack, I'll admit, a bit of an annoyance, especially when I now have lighting Earpods that don't connect to my Macbook, but the Airpods will make all the difference.
- Waterproof is huge for me, as I've been known to take phones for a swim, especially while inebriated.

Everything is speedier, easier, and higher quality coming from the 6, and I couldn't be happier tbh.

Very slim. I work for a flagship office which got the biggest shipment of any carrier in the city. None of the carriers got the Plus model, only the 7 series.

We have been ordering the devices for people at this point. Sold out on Saturday after they launched in the store on Friday. Felt pretty bad because some had spent the night at the office to get the Plus model so that was tough telling them we didn't get any Plus devices and that none of the carriers did. Some tears were shed on their end.
