I've been able to use fantastical okay, have you had problems with youtube in safari. Every time i attempt to change from 720p to 1080p the video freezes.

I've been able to use fantastical okay, have you had problems with youtube in safari. Every time i attempt to change from 720p to 1080p the video freezes.
For me, Chrome, XLD and Skype were all broken. These are all fairly essential apps for me but I managed to et them all working by uninstalling EyeTV, and Turbo HD - both Elgato apps.
Somewhere else on this thread it states that both these apps work, so I may have had some cruft. I'll probably re-install later and see if that is so, but I have to catch up on my XLD todo stuff first.

Looking at Roaring Apps.com and I have looked at the list of all the apps I use, So far all my apps are compatible. I have installed the beta version as a partition on my mac and with Mavericks intact so, if he goes wrong I can boot into mavericks.
Anyone installed undercover from http://orbicule.com? I know that you have the option when installing yosemite to enable file vault when setting up. I know that file vault is not compatible with undercover in mavericks when file vault is on.

Flash video
While YouTube works in Safari, various other sites with FLASH video just FREEZE with a static image and refuse to play.
Had to switch to FireFox, which technically hasn't even been tested for 10.10 I imagine.
Makes me wonder if Apple intends to put the squeeze on Adobe Flash once again.
If so, it's a mistake. First off, people will lose all their porn sites! LOL
But there are still tons of sites still using FLASH that have no intention of changing anytime soon. You can call that laziness, but either way it gives Yosemite a lack of functionality. On an iPhone, it's not a big deal, but on all Apple Macs, it will be a huge problem. For instance, MLB game streaming, just to name one big one.

And iMovie 10.0 doesn't work for me either, same thing.

I downloaded the public beta and seem to be having problems with 2X Client RDP. It will show as connecting, but just hangs. Has anyone else had this problem?
Final Cut Pro (10.1.2) is running fine on my 2011 MBP. Doesn't look perfect when you go full screen with it, but it works. I haven't ran into any issues with my apps just yet.
iMovie is working for me but I have iMovie '09 (8.0.6) and haven't updated due to abysmal reviews
Java SE 7 and 8 run fine if imported from Mavericks, but refuse to install for me, complaining that OS X version 10.7.3 or later is required for Java SE 7; or complaining that OS X version 10.8.3 or later is required for Java SE 8. Clearly OS X 10.10 meets that requirement, but the installer doesn't seem to think so.

Powerpoint 14.4.3 works (as the rest of office and OneNote for me...) but when going in presentation mode, the slides are changing quite slowly.
anybody else noticed this and was able to fix the refresh rate?

Anyone using Bento with Yosemite? I still haven't transitioned to anything else yet to replace it so I am hoping to get another year of use out of it if not more. It works fine with Mavericks.
IBM Notes 9.0.1FP1 Working with Yosemite Preview 4?
Does anyone else have some experience they can share with regards to how well IBM Notes 9.0.1FP1 works with Yosemite? The let time I checked, there were some window focus issues that resulted in no keyboard inputs (i.e. typing) registering within Notes.
There is a thread here on IBM Notes support in Yosemite, but isn't nearly as helpful as one would hope...

Theres a new beta release of Bartender out today to fix the issues with Bartender bar icons not showing up properly in dark mode (v1.2.21).
To get the update, you must have 'Update to test builds...' enabled.
If youre still on 1.2.11, you have to re-download the app to get it working again (1.2.2).

Calendar won't print appointments
When I try to print from calendar, I get the outline of the page, but no individual appointments. It is a blank page.
This started when I loaded the Yosemite Beta (14A299l).

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Axure Pro 7 would no longer launch after upgrading to the Yosemite beta.

Microsoft Word Will Not Launch
Downloaded Yosemite last Friday......
Microsoft Word will not launch....I have installed the latest update of Office for Mac 2011. Excel, PowerPoint and Office launch without any issue.
Everything was fine before I installed Yosemite beta.....
Thoughts?

I am having this same problem when trying to install my printer. I think the reason the printer goes blank is because printer not having drivers for Yosemite yet, I think try to install the printer with it connected to computer and if you find a mavericks driver use this to install.
I used SuperDuper to clone my Yosemite install a few days ago so I don't have to reinstall from scratch if something goes wrong. It worked fine.
On another note, 1Password 4 is being annoying, sometimes it throws up an error about not finding 1Password mini, and sometimes it doesn't and works fine. At any rate a simple restart fixes the problem. I think it happens when booting from a different boot disk (such as my Mavericks install) and booting back into Yosemite. This problem happened when I first installed Yosemite and now, when I booted into Mavericks yesterday, and am now back in Yosemite.

I tried to install my printer driver (Brother MFC 7820-N) and it installs a generic driver. When I use it to print the printer spits out constant error messages and uses a ton of paper, I had to shut the printer down manually and terminate the job to make it stop.
I simply think there are no Yosemite drivers for my printer yet.
