Why are some notifications shown before the words Notification Center and some after??
I have the same issue, I have a photo of sentimental value that I've had on my lock screen for over 12 years. It's original 320 x 240. When you got the 12 Max it upgraded my picture with perfect resolution, I have the original but whenever I try to ad it as a Lock Screen its all blurry even with zooming and tweaking, idk how to access the upgraded picture and I can't recreate it.Thanks. It was the default lock screen photo years ago. Can those be saved or am I out of luck?
The ones shown before are new notifications. The ones after Notification Center are past, older ones. Why are some notifications shown before the words Notification Center and some after??
I just sent feedback asking for possibility to ALSO be able to swipe up from Home Screen ..
This is what everybody should be doing really. The more feedback they get, the more they might listen a little bit. As much as we like to think they see complaints in these forums, that's unlikely.
Love threads like this, in a couple of weeks you will all be used to it...
Thanks SO MUCH for your invaluable contribution. Suddenly I have faith in the world. 🙄Love threads like this, in a couple of weeks you will all be used to it...
But this is what's wrong with people, within seconds after a new thing start complaining about it without giving it due time to assess weter it's actually worse or just new. Thanks SO MUCH for your invaluable contribution. Suddenly I have faith in the world. 🙄
Sure, maybe we will get used to the less intuitive way of doing it, but that doesn’t make it right. How nice for Apple that they can do something stupid that doesn’t solve anything and our only choice is to get used to it.But this is what's wrong with people, within seconds after a new thing start complaining about it without giving it due time to assess weter it's actually worse or just new.
And I can tell you already that for 99% of you it's just new and you'll get used to it within weeks.
And you know how I know this because every new big IOS update you get these exact threads complaining about everything for the first few weeks and then it dies down because nobody cares. Prime example being the notch.

Still hate the notch. Also, we are talking about not even seeing some notifications. Sorry, but that’s a pretty big deal. But this is what's wrong with people, within seconds after a new thing start complaining about it without giving it due time to assess weter it's actually worse or just new.

I’ve reported issues through there for almost a decade. Apple don’t care.I wonder if enough of us provide this feedback Apple can fix this right away?

This is one of the red flags of bad design and unfixed bugs: inconsistent behaviors. This is a common complaint for me with Apple’s software now.And yet, sometimes it does as well. It's oddly inconsistent - either that, or something I'm doing or something I tweaked made it appear when it should (which is the more likely scenario!).
Has to be? Apple have been making lots of very bad GUI design decisions, actively, since 2013.Agree 100%. It makes zero sense. Has to be a bug.
Because Apple have the Wall Street needle in their vein.I haven't "upgraded" yet but it sounds like once again we are all beta testers. Why don't they take longer and get it right? Every single release has big problems.
Maybe they were vocal. Apple have a long history of ignoring their users.I don’t think it’s a bug per se. It’s too obvious to be a bug that lasted through all the betas. It’s probably working as they intended, but it’s clearly not the best user experience. I wonder why all the beta testers weren’t as vocal about this during the betas?
iPhone and iPad went from being the best tech device to promote to my parents, to just another tech industry disaster, as of iOS 7. My parents were doing great with iOS prior to iOS 7. Then it all went to hell. I feel bad getting them on these devices, but the alternatives are still a bit worse. Apple went from “superior” to “less bad” and I’m not happy.I’m with you. I feel bad for my parents, they are in their 70s and this new way is definitely going to confuse them since you basically don’t see your notifications unless you look for them.
This here is why we are dominated by corporations. They DON’T know better than us. They keep trying to squeeze blood from stone. We have no agency, and there’s been an ongoing social engineering process to make everyone compliant and afraid to object (because “you just don’t understand tech”, “nothing is perfect”, “what billion dollar corporation did YOU found”, and just general “complaining bad”).Honestly I don’t like it either but it’s fine and I’ll get used to it.
I’m pretty sure the decision-makers at Apple don’t actually use their own products. They have secretaries and executive assistants for that stuff. It absolutely sucks. The 15 Lock Screen was perfection. It's as if the developers don't actually use iPhones. It's all a step backward.
