Guys! Holy SH** I just checked my order status again for the hell of it, and it's finally changed to "Preparing to ship"!!!!!!! I'm so stoked!!!

The date estimate has not changed.

For the record, today is Day 72 of waiting for this blessed moment. 🥳🤪

congrats! Mine will probably change in a few days. Hopefully yours will ship soon and start its long journey.

Received a phone notification that it will be delivered until 10th June.
UPS created shipping labels. ✌🏼👌🏼

UPS should shortly give you a much sooner delivery date. Apple's notice on your phone (there should also be an e-mail) probably recommends that you start using UPS tracking for accurate delivery info and updates.

I'am living in the Netherlands and I have the idea that from the upgraded M1 Ultra's nothing have been delivered yet.
I ordered a MS Ultra 20/48/128/2 on 4/5/22 at reseller MacFreak in the Netherlands and the estimated delivery time they gave me is 8-10 weeks (mid June).

Mine doesn't show any tracking other than arriving in Hong Kong, but also UPS say it is arriving tomorrow. I assume they are lying, but also about 25% of the time the tracking fails to return anything so frankly, who knows anymore. It'll show up one day...

For the records, ordered an Ultra 20/48/128/2 and a plain Studio Display on March 23. Planned delivery 13 Jun - 24 Jun for the Mac and May 24 - Jun 9 for the display. Live within cycling distance of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Except for the "Thanks for your patience" ("Bedankt voor je geduld") mail, no sign of anything happening or moving with this order. Not even a sign that it has been paid; I paid directly when ordering.

Yep, same for me.
UPS is scheduling a delivery for Friday 27th.
Mine also arrived at Chek Lab (HK).

I'm pretty sure, as soon as UPS is involved, things speed up a lot.
Apple's ordering-queue is definitely the most time-consuming factor if you go for BTO configurations.

Given the backlog at Hong Kong airport, don't be surprised if UPS's May 27 date slips by two or three days.

As you can see, all of these Max orders that were delivered May 18, 19 and 20 had some slippage from UPS's original estimated date:

Noted. It would be perfect if my Studio arrived on Friday, as I'd have all weekend to get it set up, swap data with my current iMac, etc. But It seems likely that it will slip until early next week. Well, we'll see. Fingers crossed.

As I understand it, 12.4 was released on May 16. My Max was shipped on the 16th with the previous 12.3.1, which I think was released on March 31. As usual, updating took awhile. Good idea to find something to do instead of hovering

I purchased a base Max from an Apple Store on March 18 (launch day) and also had to update it.

12.3.1 is probably a safe bet then, and since my current iMac is already at 12.4 I'll need to update the Studio before running Migration Assistant to move things over. Thanks, this is one of the many things I'm thinking about and planning for, now that my Studio has finally shipped... I appreciate it!
