Has anyone that bought from Simply Mac received their shipment yet? I ordered my Ultra from them on March 29th, and they have kept on pushing the date back. Just curious if they actually got inventory in and not some canned response of check back in 15 days.

Thought I'd chime in after watching the dialog for the past weeks. Ordered my M1 Ultra 48 core GPU 64 GB ram with 4TB SSD through B&H, a US reseller on March 9th (the day after the Mc Studio announcement) I'm still awaiting a notification that it's been shipped to the reseller (June 2). The reseller told me earlier this week I'm next on the list to receive my order, so I'm guessing the delay - since others have been other M1 Ultra's ordered after mine and delivered before mine that the delay is likely from ordering the larger 4TB SSD. Any thoughts other than this reseller prioritizing other custom orders before mine as to why this order seems to be so late?
I ordered the same config direct from Apple on March 23 and its due to be delivered tomorrow (although I'm a bit skeptical of that because the tracking is not showing much info other than its on the way to KY right now). I've ordered a ton of stuff from B&H over the years (all photography related) and it always ships out right away and comes fast. I think in your case they must have not yet been granted stock of those more uncommon specs from Apple yet. Its hard for me to believe its just B&H being slow. Anyway, I hope they get it shipped to you asap!

The status of my Ultra, ordered also on March 23, is that for five days now DHL indicates that they have not yet received it. Apple indicates the status "sent" ("verzonden"). Apple replaced the date of delivery which was June 13 to June 2x, to June 15. On the internet people suggest that "DHL" stands for "Doe Het Langzaam" ("Don't Hurry"). Anyhow, I guess this compensates for staying in Hong Kong for a week.
The status of the studio display is unaltered: "processing". Delivery from May 24 to June 9.
But I still expect that something tangible will happen in the coming two weeks.

My Ultra was delivered this morning! 🎉 It's larger and heavier than I anticipated, and it's quieter than the reviews suggest, in my opinion. It's a wonderful machine. In total, my Studio order took 63 days to arrive. I hope that the remaining orders are delivered quickly.

Could someone from the later orders take over this read/copy/paste/edit job ? Volunteers, please ...

Mine now says “Your package is pending release from a non-UPS broker. Contact the non-UPS broker for additional information.”
And the delivery estimate disappeared and now says “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible”.
Maybe it won’t be today after all 🙁

Where's your computer? Sounds like it's now in Canada at Mirabel airport.

So to sum it up:

Ultra 20 CPU/48 GPU/128 GB/2TB
Ordered on March 18th.
May 25: Pending charge
May 28: Preparing to ship
May 30: Shipped
May 31: Payment passed on cc
June 3: Delivered

77 days after order.
And it only took 4 days of shipping time from Shenzhen to Montreal!

Day 73 at "processing" now. The once joyous "we have everything necessary to complete your order" message festooned upon the status page now appears to cruelly mock me on a daily basis . Doubtful at this point that my order will arrive near the start of the delivery window, but what's a few more weeks I suppose?

Truly glad to see that others are receiving their orders and enjoying their new machines! Hoping to join you shortly.

As you have the "maxed out" Ultra, perhaps its taking the Tier 1 master craftsman a little more time as he's hand forging it from scratch, burn testing every component and all those spirits he has to bind to the machine..takes a bit more time I bet.

Jokes aside, I really hope it comes for you soon :)

Thanks! Just having a little fun while venting. I'm sure (gulp) that it's just around the corner.

I was in need of venting around that time too. My order-to-delivery time was 80 days, with Day 73 being around the time mine finally shipped, so hopefully it's the same for you. Good luck!

Reactions: InroArt and F-Train
Just a quick update on my order. Evidently Flight 61 was re-routed last night due to severe weather and had to land in Indianapolis, IN. Then UPS had to ship it to Louisville, KY to clear customs. So now it’s on its way back to Indiana and will be delivered Friday. 🤞
Yikes. I did notice on FlightAware that my Flight 61 did take paths around bad weather cells, and then took an extra 20 minutes or so to land while further dodging sketchy weather and probably waiting for a good gap in which to land... They should bring these things into California where we have nicer weather. 😁

My Studio came in today. I'm slowly getting stuff setup how I like and so far its going ok.

1 very annoying issue so far. After the computer goes to sleep (or rather the monitors shutting off) and then waking back up again, every 58 seconds after waking up, my primary monitor goes black for 4 seconds (the other monitor remains on as normal). This could be temporarily fixed by unplugging the primary monitor from the Studio for a couple seconds, or rebooting the machine. In both cases, the monitor would stop going black, until it went to sleep again.

I was able to find a more permanent (so far) work around by switching monitors (meaning the two monitor cables are plugged into the same ports on the Studio, but the other two ends of the cables switched which monitor they were plugged into).

More info if anyone runs into the same issue:
Some details of my setup were (in the failing case above):
Primary monitor is a BenQ PD3200U running at native resolution (4k @ 60hz) via a USBC-HDMI cable
Secondary monitor is a Asus ProArt PA329 running at native resolution (4k @ 60hz) via an HDMI-HDMI cable

After the workaround, my setup is:
Primary monitor is a BenQ PD3200U running at native resolution (4k @ 60hz) via a HDMI-HDMI cable
Secondary monitor is a Asus ProArt PA329 running at native resolution (4k @ 60hz) via an USBC-HDMI cable

And some additional info, I did try using different USBC ports for the primary monitor and I also tried a different USBC-HDMI cable. Neither fixed the issue.

Finally the Eagle has landed! My M1 Ultra Studio was finally delivered by UPS after 6pm. My son graduated high school tonight and was having to leave to attend the ceremony when UPS finally pulled up to my house. I won’t get a chance to set it up till tomorrow, but at least it is in my house.👍
