1 very annoying issue so far. After the computer goes to sleep (or rather the monitors shutting off) and then waking back up again...
That sound quite maddening and I'm glad I don't have that problem. The worst issue I had was having to abandon my old "master/slave" power setup, but my current setup uses so little power that I don't mind.

And FWIW, I have have had a lot of monitor issues with my MBA, with multiple monitors and several problems. So far, all of my monitor problems of late have been solved by the same issue: using high-quality cable with all the latest support. This has especially been true for HDMI cables. Using known good ones that support HDMI 2.1 has cured all of the multitude of issues I have experienced. I even replaced factory cables that *came with my brand new LG monitor* that the manual said to be sure to use! Anyway, maybe worth a few bucks to try out if it applies to you. Good luck.

Finally the Eagle has landed! My M1 Ultra Studio was finally delivered by UPS after 6pm. My son graduated high school tonight and was having to leave to attend the ceremony when UPS finally pulled up to my house. I won’t get a chance to set it up till tomorrow, but at least it is in my house.👍
Glad it wasn't sitting on your doorstep while you were attending his graduation at least! Congrats on the delivery. Oh, and the graduation too! 😅😁

Thanks for the advice. I will probably replace my cables. My USBC-HDMI is a newer Anker which supposedly supports 4k @ 120 or even 8k but who knows. Its got to be something. At least for now I can live with the work around.

Loving how fast Lightroom is now!!

My Mac Studio Max (10 core, 64GB Memory, 4TB Hard Drive) that I ordered on the 7th May has finally shipped!

It says it won't arrive till the 21st June, but I'm hoping it will be quicker than that.

Still no sign of the Studio Display, though, and I won't be able to use the machine until that arrives.

Apple's order page and the e-mail that it sent you say to pay attention to UPS's tracking page for up-to-date info on delivery. June 21st is just Apple's notional date.

Congratulations to you are your son. Indeed a night neither of you will ever forget. Great timing by UPS, too!

Actually, the date has already reduced to the 9th June. Good that it's coming earlier than Apple originally stated. I just hope I don't have too long to wait for the monitor now.

I ordered on May 26th. Was looking at a delivery date of July 15-25, but my unit shipped out last week and UPS says it's arriving on Monday. (Max, 10-core CPU, 32-core-GPU, 64GB Memory, 1TB Storage.)

Quick update - longest delivery yet. The Mac Studio Ultra 20 CPU/48 GPU/64 GB/4TB ordered on March 9th - 89 days ago and still not delivered from B&H
Jeez. Sorry to hear that. That is absolutely ridiculous. They are usually quite good.

B&H said the expected initial delivery date originally was May 13th then May 31 Now they are saying it could be delivered to them this Thursday, June 9th. This would mean delivery not earlier than June 13th to the west coast even with 2 day FedEx shipping. We'll see.

Let's hope they throw in overnight shipping as a sorry for the long wait! I got a free set of AirPods as a "sorry" gift even before my full 80-day wait. But then again I ordered straight from Apple.

After the super long waits for our studios, I admit I'm selfishly a little relieved that Apple didn't seem to even hint at the new Mac Pros or comparable upper end M2 machines today. Inevitable, of course, but it seems we still have a little more time at the top of the pecking order ;)

Has anyone that bought from Simply Mac received their shipment yet? I ordered my Ultra from them on March 29th, and they have kept on pushing the date back. Just curious if they actually got inventory in and not some canned response of check back in 15 days.
I also ordered from them around April 10th and it was first estimated for April 25th. They kept telling me the inventory date was getting pushed back further and further, until finally they just said "we don't have an update". I'm about to cancel and just order from Apple and wait it out. At least I'll have some sort of realistic time frame then.

How's it going on your end with them?

They also mentioned that the RE: Village game would be available on all Macs at 1080p, and 4K for the Studios. 1080p would be a little disappointing, from a tech perspective, so I'm glad my Mac Studio which is said to be capable of handling multiple 8K streams can at least play a game at 4k.
