Same issue for me. I'm about to use @dosdude1's Catalina Patcher v1.0.8 to re-install DP6.
Anyone ever had the wifi issues existing on DP5 and upgrading to DP6 resolved the issue?
Thanks.
I would like to know it as well.

That´s what I meantHello
Yes, the disk utility hides the devices but you can display them as before, just click on the icon on the top left and select "show all devices".
After we can select the entire disk and more than the partition

Hello @Pinarek
@dosdude1 has already made an update of Catalina patcher version 1.0.8 is available on his website:
http://dosdude1.com/catalina/
That´s bad news...After latest update (1.0.8 / dev 6) my ati rx 580 boots into black screen. No signal to monitor (checked dvi, DP and hdmi). My old NVidia GT 120 is working. Of course I can't rule out completely that the ATI gave up the ghost. Anybody else with ATI RX cards problems on latest cat beta?
That' all I found in the system report:

Apple screwed up my cache rebuild method it seems. I'll update the Patcher momentarily to fix this.
Use the post-installl tool to force a cache rebuild, then it should work.Hi I have used 1.0.8 of Catalina Patcher, but this keeps on happening. And now I cannot open my mac
See my earlier posts about black screeen after second boot stage (no white progress bar on black screen) when using GTX680 Display Port Out. Seems OK on on first boot after install but no video on subsequent boots. Fixed by using CTX680 DVI-D port. That´s bad news...
Have you tried reapplying all of the patches with forced cache rebuilding under a usb installer created with 1.0.8 from DP6? Just to make sure you don't have some funky residual kernel cache issues.
Disable APFS Booter is an Option in the Patcher's menu bar - I tend to forget setting it before proceeding to the patching process.
Giant circle also here, tried only after you've seen this. Some picture flashes briefly below the systems settings window before the giant circle shows.
"sudo trimforce enable" worked without setting read/write first.
Catalina DP6 looks very good to me, though still beta...
Nice work, Julian.Thank you so much.macOS Patcher 3.0 beta 6 has now been released. This is the description from the macOS Patcher releases page:
"This is the sixth beta of macOS Patcher 3.0, the first version of macOS Patcher to support macOS 10.15 Catalina.
Release notes for macOS Patcher beta 6:
- Add 10.15 beta 6 system and installer support
Important notes:
This is a beta release of macOS Patcher with support for a beta release of macOS. If you discover an issue, please make sure it’s an issue with macOS Patcher 3.0 and not with macOS 10.15 Catalina. If your issue is with the macOS Patcher 3.0, then contact us on Discord or MacRumors Forums, or create an issue on the macOS Patcher GitHub page.
You have to run macOS Patcher with the -legacy-prelinkedkernel flag when creating a patched installer for the MacBook4,1.
You can read about the removal of the integrated utilities, and the future of macOS Patcher here."

"Release notes for BlueSky 1.2:
The download size for the zip is around 100MB. If you download only the script then BlueSky will automatically download the full zip file that includes all the patched binaries. If you downloaded an older release, you have to download a newer one to get the changes. The script file has NOT been changed in this release."

Just installed B6 over B5 using patcher 1.08. I configured the patcher not to auto patch (great option for those with upgraded hardware - thanks dosdude1) and have not used any post install patches. Have lost the night shift as the cMP5.1 in vanilla form was excluded from this by Apple. All seems ok, RX580 boots up normally and so far no problems. The user picture is shown and all the desktop disk icons are fine. After latest update (1.0.8 / dev 6) my ati rx 580 boots into black screen. No signal to monitor (checked dvi, DP and hdmi). I am using Mojave as my working system on a separate drive. This is also natively supported by our cMP 5.1s. I install test systems on a different drive. Any problems and I can boot back into a working system. If the RX580 works then you would know it is ok. Hope your card is ok.Unfortunately I have no other mac/pc to check my card. So I must presume that it is (maybe) damaged. Atm I install High Sierra to use my NVidia GT 120 nativley. The Gt 120 runs on Cat beta but there is a prob waking up from sleep. Screen stays black, and the fans run on full speed.
Thanks For the reply : I guess the problem was with the os install itself, because I've reinstalled it again and the force cache rebuild worked.Use the post-installl tool to force a cache rebuild, then it should work.

Well that is good news about the card. Now Mojave should work natively so I would focus on that for now using Apple’s official installer from the app store. What rom is your Mac using? Also do not have the GT120 and the RX580 installed at the same time. Some reports of the GT120 stopping boots to Mojave when it installed with another card.Puzzling update: the rx 580 boots flawlessly into High Sierra on the same mac(!). The card shows up properly in system report. But no boot into Mojave and Catalina. Strange. So the card itself seems to be fine. Something else goes badly.
