Is there an option to add the battery health management to older MB? I found some work-arounds on github, but these don't work dynamically.

I own the MB Pro 13" (2015).

"Updating"

George Colgrove,

I managed to solve it by checking the APFS Patch box.

Try to solve it there for you.

It is still starting with the first screen showing a screen with a lot of letters going up.

Still looking for the solution for this, since this iMac has native APFS support.

"Updating 2"

I was able to solve the problem of the black screen by this procedure.

This worked like a charm.

I have updated the Zoom patch for non-Metal video cards to work with the latest Zoom versions. If you have been having a no video issue after updating Zoom, this patch should take care of that. Just download the attached script, extract, and run.

Hi there,

Is it normal that Patch Updater just asked to me to make an update about "... library update ..."? (I don't remember exactly the sentence). I've done it, but suddenly, I was afraid it could be a wrong update not from dosdude1?

:)

Vincent.

Yep, it's an update from me. Should fix the issue where some third-party apps crash occasionally when launched.

Please thoroughly read page 1, Entry #1, in this thread.
That is the way to correct way to Patch. :)

Hi, thanks for the answer, I did read that post, not sure if I'm blind but there is no instruction besides the link to the instructuction from e.g. Dosdudes Patcher. I have als read that info + the instruction video and there he loses no word about whether it is relevant from which version to update (there is some info specific to High Sierra people but otherwise I don't see anything) .. as least not to my knowledge (of the English language)

Thank you Dosdude very much; soo apreciated; hopefully, this will also solve the recent appearance of intermittent choppy audio with bluetooth headset use with Zoom that to resolve, was disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth headset (Sony WH1000 X2) until another intermittent event.

You're lucky, mine takes 3 times to open Chrome, but it works :p
I use after each new update install or program crashes (Office and Adobe in particular:
1. sudo mount -uw / ; killall Finder
2. sudo nvram boot-args=amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1
reboot

It works right away; although a manual process easy and immediste effect.

just my 2 cents

Can't do this, as it prevents any program from being able to ask for permissions, for things such as using your microphone and camera.

Hi. I have just turned on my Mac Pro 4,1-5,1 and this has appeared. But I haven´t had a single problem in my mac since I installed Catalina.

Are you going to install it? If so let me know how that works out. I haven’t had a single problem on my genuine 2012 MP51, but I’ll install this if it seems advisable.

Hi. I tried to install macOS Catalina (through dosdude patcher) on iMac 10,1. When restart entering on the USB macOS Boot Install the page with the apple logo remains steady even if the installation indicator is completed, failing in any way to go to the next installation step. Because? Thanks
