dosdude1, I followed dosdude1 video + disabled SIP of course.Which patcher you used to install Catalina: dosdude1 or OCLP? What procedure you followed to install? need details first before anyone may be able to help you out.
Did you run High Sierra and updated to the latest version before installing dosdude1-Catalina (mentioned in the video as well, I believe)?dosdude1, I followed dosdude1 video + disabled SIP of course.
I’ve struggled with TCCplus on multiple older macs and by FAR the easiest fix is just download OCLP 0.3.0 GUI version, click build and install, choose a USB or SD card to install it to (NOT YOUR INTERNAL DRIVE), then reboot holding down the option key and boot through your newly created OCLP drive to your internal drive. Once booted, open whatever program you want to add permissions for and it will simply ask you to add them. Once you’ve allowed them via the pop up prompt, shut down the computer, remove the OCLP drive and power on and boot as normal, all fixed. Just keep your OCLP drive handy if you ever need to add more permissions. Works literally 100% of the time.First post here - I think I am having a similar problem as TerraMati.
I'm trying to add permissions for Microphone and Camera (for Zoom) via jslegendre's tccplus script. I'm using dosdude1's patcher for Catalina v 1.4.4 on a late 2009 iMac 11.1 running Catalina 15.4.7. Already manually re-applied his post-install patches to no effect. I was already on the latest version of High Sierra before installing the patched Catalina.
SIP and AMFI are disabled. Terminal runs the tccplus script -- at least I think it does -- it says [process completed]. But when trying to add permissions zsh gives this error in terminal: "no such file or directory: ./tccplus"
I'm sure I'm missing something very simple here, but it's quite frustrating. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info and much appreciated. I did not know OCLP has already had this fixed even though I saw this post before but did not 'click' at the time.by FAR the easiest fix is just download OCLP 0.3.0 GUI version
Oh no. I forgot about this one. + I wanted to say that after the failed instalation the Macbook had the white screen of death and I just reseted the Nvram and now it booted. High Sierra is updating.Did you run High Sierra and updated to the latest version before installing dosdude1-Catalina (mentioned in the video as well, I believe)?
SMC reset?Sorry, I cannot import a big file like this onto the forum.
Anyways, into my another big, fat problem. I successfully installed @dosdude1 patcher's Catalina and it works ok (It's still on external SSD). But this problem is bad. My battery isn't charging. I know that in 10.15.5 they added a "Battery Health" option but it's not showing up (probably because it's only for USB C Macs). I don't know what to do. Help. Again.
FireWire boot has been dropped with Catalina. You can get it back using OCLPI can't install Catalina from Catalina dosdude patcher in a firewire 800 SSD.
All goes well till I need to reinstall (install) and select firewire disk. It's shown greyed out with a message like "You can't install in this volume because it's in the firewire connection"
It can't be done then? Any hints?
Note: I was trying to make usable an imac10,1 (late 2009) with a firewire enclosure and a ssd without open the dam thing and do it internally...
You can BOOT to a Catalina volume with OCLP, but you can’t install to a FireWire because Catalina removed that option. Use a USB connection to install it, THEN USE OCLP to boot to it.I can't install Catalina from Catalina dosdude patcher in a firewire 800 SSD.

All my computers do...Is there a way to make closing the lid in Catalina actually put the computer to sleep?
Ok, but mine doesn't (again mid-2010 '15 macbook pro). I tested it by just cloing the lid for an hour. It didn't either shut down or go to sleep. The fans were spinning the whole hour. Is there any fix to this???All my computers do...
Re-apply the post install patches. Sounds like your Video Card isn't working properly so it can't sleep/wake correctly.Ok, but mine doesn't (again mid-2010 '15 macbook pro).
